Description

Sometimes, size does NOT matter!

While the Evanix Max-ML is less than 30" long, that doesn't mean it can't compete with the big guns. In fact, this bullpup will give the others a real run for their money (and best most of them!).

If you're looking for accuracy and power, the Max-ML is for you. If you're looking for a repeater that doesn't gasp for air after just a few shots, the Max-ML is for you. If you're looking for a gun that's not a boat anchor, the Max-ML is for you.

Accuracy + knockdown power + repeater + compactness = Perfection

If the above equation is what you've been hunting for, then add this to your cart. You're not going to find anything else that meets all your requirements. I guess you could say that perfection IS achievable!

9mm performs best with JSB and Air Venturi pellets but tends to jam with Eun Jin pellets.

.45- and 50-cal. mags accept ammo up to .600" long. Do not use .457" round balls in the .45-cal. magazine. Do not use ammo weighing more than 204 grains. Our 176-grain .45-caliber semi-wadcutter is not recommended. The .45-caliber air gun has a .453" bore diameter, and the barrel has 16 grooves with 1:15 right-hand twist. Do not use the Air Venturi bullet with the steel-tipped nose in your .50-caliber magazine. It does not fit.

Ridiculously easy format to use and carry. First bullpup and won't be my last. Incredibly well built, I'm sure you could beat your target to pieces with it and it'd still work.

Pink polka dot paint job and maybe take a pound out of the stock for the ladies, even at expense of durability?

Haven't shot a gun since teens, out of shape, over age desk jockey and this was insanely easy to lift, hold to aim, carry... and hit targets at 20 - 30 yd. Blew through 3/4 inch wood at 30 yd, after a doz shots 1 inch into PT 2x6 I had Pyramyd mount / sight the scope, charge and test fire it - well worth the few bucks MUST DO IF ITS A GIFT - instant out of box operation -after loading of course.
If you're a newbie like me and wondering bullpup or full length rifle go bullpup. Also, you got woods like around here, little chance of getting a bullet to target between all the trees at over 30 yd,

Great rifle, 30" long, lots of power and great accuracy, love it.

The pressure gage!!!! Can't see it, need a flashlight

Is a great rifle for the price compared with the other more expensive, but the gage is thumbs down

Looks great, accurate, powerful!!! .50 cal, love shooting this rifle I take it out every chance I get.

Larger air cylinder and regulate it, maybe add a foster fitting for a fill port, and definitely move the pressure gauge to a better spot it really sucks there

I bought a regulated air venturi tank and leave it hooked up which basically regulates the rifle and makes it super accurate also don't have to worry about filling every 5 shots. I suggest getting a compressor also or a huge tank because these big bores love their air

Looks awesome, shoots well, puts a pretty good sized hole in stuff I don't think it would have any problem dropping a deer at 50yrds or so.

I wish it was regulated, with such big ammo I refill after every clip but I still have to adjust for each of the 5 shots differently

I love this gun it looks great, feels great, and is a lot of fun to shoot. I suggest getting a compressor and a large air tank though it uses a lot of air. I get maybe 40 shots out of a 90ci air venturi tank before I have to refill it. I refill the gun every 5 shots.

Power, Accuracy, Compact, Ease of use

Might rework the fill port to a standard. Other than that, nothing

I have it in .25 , its accurate on my little range of 25 yards. Excellent with JSB Match Kings. Way more power than I expected from a .25 . Chronograph for 10 shots started at 905fps and ended at 878fps.

Loud , but not overly so, probably way quieter than the .357 version. Build or buy a good trap, I'm easily going through 1/2" treated plywood at 25 yards.

For the people having problems with their rifles shooting all over the place. A lot of rifles with shrouds usually have a shorter barrel inside. Most of the time the main barrel is not perfectly in line with the muzzle end on your shroud. You might be experiencing pellet deflecting. The pellet not exiting through the small muzzle hole. Unscrew the end cap with the exiting hole and check for any scoring marks caused by the pellet. You might just have to try and line it up with a few twists and turns or drill a larger hole so the pellet can clear. I have a few shrouded rifles that gave me a little grief in that respect and just drilled them out. They work great, problem solved. Hope it helps. Dale from Canada

The weight. The power.

The height of the top rail quite low. needs riser with scope.

NOT A TOY. Serious weapon. Will attempt to take it to a range and see if they will let me practice. Report is way too loud for back yard. Sounds like nail gun on meth. Not that I know what meth feels like. Happy shooting.

Reasonably accurate in comparison to other .357s I have shot. I was getting 1.5" consistently at 50 yards with JSB 81 gr. pellets.

Fairly loud. If you live with fairly close neighbors, you might want to consider the smaller (.177, .22, .25) caliber rifles.

You will use a lot of air with the .357 rifle. I was filling between magazines for optimal accuracy.

Great Looks and Feel

This is one of the most inaccurate rifles I have ever purchased. I'm not sure if I got a bad one or not, but it won't hit even close to the last shot. At first I thought I was missing the target, but even bench rested it shoots all over the place. I returned the rifle.

Buy another rifle.

Just uploaded a photo hope they approved it so you can see that these gun are accurate maybe you got a bad one. My gun shoots 1-6 shot around 800 to 780 and on the 7 th shot it drops to 715 and flattens out to 710, 708,705,701,701,701,and 698. For hunting i just keep count and adjust my shots. Also use a premium 40x scope with thin cross hair to get the most out of the gun. 12 x at 100 yards dont cut it .

I agree...? Does buyer expect 6-10-15 shots high power and able to sling them out there? With this type of airgun, after 5-7 shots, the POI is going to suffer I would guess. If you are getting bad numbers on first 4-5shots, it's time to call Pyramyd.

I have many evanix (WC .357, WC .25, WC .22, 3D Bullpup .25, Blizzard .25 and an AR6 .22) ALL of them are VERY accurate.... When I bought the WC .357 the accuracy was VERY bad, but it was a problem of the pellet I was using... Once I bought the JSB´s the rifle was able to show it´s VERY accurate.... Of course there´s always a possibility of having a defective item(af any nature).

Brian Sep 03, 2014

Sounds like you got a bad one. I recommend buying another Max-ML. Evanix guns are accurate as they come. I've been shooting pin heads at 20 yards (out to 50 yards even) on my Rainstorm 3D for over a year.

very powerful and accurate. it looks nice. my first 9mm and i was surprise how big the pellet was. 50 yards 5 shot 1 1/2 inch on a good day 1 inch.

the loudness and the weight. wish it had a nice shot string.

set up targets 2 small apple at 55 yard two small water bottle at 75 yards. 4 out of 4 no miss hit center mass on all. after 6-8 shot you notice the drop at far distances like 60 to 70 yard. didnt need to compensate for crosswind more than 10mph under 70 yards bullets heavy enough to buck the wind just aim and shoot. 100 yards are doable with a medium size target but gun must be fully charged or else its just going to be a guessing game.

MARLON Dec 24, 2014

I just did 100 yards grouping on this and its accurate 3 inch average with very tight group. Check out my vid on youtube sactown airgunner
