Using advanced CNC machining, this single-stroke pneumatic gives you everything you need to score perfect bullseyes as it sends pellets downrange at 400 fps.
With one of the most ergonomic grips on an entry level competition shooter, the 6004 rests comfortably in the hand. Its ambidextrous walnut grip fits the hand perfectly for a balanced shooting platform. An adjustable 2-stage trigger, allows you to adjust the trigger’s pivot point, pull weight, and the distance of the break in the first and second stage. Weighing in at 2.0lbs, this pistol is easily controllable, with just enough heft for stability. Each features an adjustable rear sight (windage and elevation) and a front sight that can be removed and switched out. As a single-stroke pneumatic, only one pump will give you a perfect velocity for scoring perfect 10s.
Considering the accuracy, Chiappa states that the FAS 6004 can achieve an accuracy as near as 0.08 inches center to center--incredible for a $400 pistol! Build, fit and finish superb. Same for ergonomics.
Things I would have changed:I could not get the gun zeroed at 10 meters. I cleaned the barrel right out of the box. Shot off hand first and was disappointed at my 6 inch patterns. I hand selected and lightly oiled some fresh pellets and shot 10 meters from bench rest. Same problem. I cleaned barrel again and shot dry hand selected pellets. Ditto performance.
What others should know:Thank goodness for Pyramid's return policy.

Quality is top rate, the ambi walnut grip is spectacular, just a joy to plink in the back yard and 10m target. It doesnt get better than this pistol unless you spend 4 times the money.
Things I would have changed:Advertised 400fps should realistically be 370 with 7 grain pellets.
What others should know:Stick with 7 grain or less pellets. This pistol loves the RWS match premium 7.0 grains. Oil your walnut grip to get all of that beautiful grain to pop!

I want a pellet pistol that is a quality product and QUIET. I am partial to HW guns but their pistols (in your catalog) are not quiet (3 med). The Chiaffa (PY-3913=75020 IS incredibly quiet ( 1-low). I am 75 years old and want a scope. Will the Chiaffa take a mount and scope. I will use this for plinking only. Do you have another very quiet option to the Chiaffa ? I want a springer or single stroke pneumatic. .
You might want to try one of the break barrel pistols like the Trail NP Pistol or the Umarex Trevox. But they aren't in the same quality league as the Chaippa or HW Pistols. The P3 or HW75 aren't too much louder than the Chiappa, and would be scopeable....I'd go for one of those

Great grip, easy to cock. Overall very good build quality, no plastic parts at all.
Things I would have changed:Rear site is terrible for a target gun. No click adjustments, just a mushy feeling screw. On mine the elevation would change when adjusting the windage! Finally used a digital calipers to measure the distance moved and got results.
What others should know:Not what I expected for a gun at this price point.
