Setting out to develop a true hunting powerhouse, FX Airguns delivers the Impact M3 .35 Caliber. Retaining all of the adjustability and desirable features of the existing platform and some big new improvements, the Impact M3 .35 Caliber brings power and precision together in a marriage made in airgun heaven! Thanks to the upgraded Power Plenum 720, the Impact now ventures into large game hunting territory with authority.
The Impact M3 .35 Caliber features an 800mm Smooth Twist X Superior barrel liner, set up to deliver stunning performance with larger pellets. Sending pellets downrange at high speeds and generating over 156 FPE (with the FX Slug Power Kit) at the muzzle, the Impact M3 is firmly a part of the medium and large game hunting conversation. Coming standard with a removable 580cc carbon fiber air cylinder capable of a stunning 45 shots per 250 BAR fill, shoot with confidence whether you're in the field or in a benchrest competition. The premium side shot magazine holds 18 rounds in .35, so you always have lead on tap.
Of course, the beauty of the Impact platform is the ability to change calibers and settings at will. The highly touted dual AMP (Adjustable Match Precision) regulators, micro and macro external hammer spring adjustment, and external valve control adjustment are all at your fingertips on the Impact M3. And because the rifle utilizes the Smooth Twist X liner system, swapping calibers or liners is a breeze. The ergonomics are perfect for shooters of all shapes and sizes, and make the operation of the rifle seamless. And the match grade trigger ensures you have full control over each and every shot, to place them exactly where you desire.
As of early 2022, FX Introduced the Impact M3 with the new rear Power Block. The power plenum stages the power capabilities of the FX Impact, the rear block handles that transfer of power much like a car’s carburetor. FX has completely redesigned the rear block and the valve house which allows for better air flow, efficiency, and power potential.
The Power Block will be especially useful for those who desire to shoot heavy slugs. The pressure in the plenum can better translate to the pressure behind the slug upon firing, allowing higher speeds and power. Those shooting heavy slugs are encouraged to add the FX Impact Tungsten Hammer weight to also allow for higher working pressures.
If you've been itching for a big bore that offers true precision without skimping on power, the FX Impact M3 .35 Caliber is the rifle you've been waiting for!

Tech Note: While the manual states the M3 models are capable of 300 BAR fill pressures, this is only achievable with aftermarket carbon fiber bottles. The current factory bottles from FX that are included on the rifles are rated for 250 BAR fill pressures and should not be filled over this pressure.

Mod abilityThings I would have changed:
Free scope with the rifle. Would love to see a 40cal one for deer hunting with 400ft lbs of muzzle energyWhat others should know:
Great gun and easy to change caliber
Shoots well out of the box. I have the pre Power block which I purchased in early 2022. The bronze, IMO. is the better looking of the two choices. My came shooting at 865 FPS with 81 grain pellets. I can punch a hole through a 1" pine board at 100 yards. Its powerful, accurate and is very adjustable for power. I have upgraded to the power slug kit from Huma Air and tuned the regulators (155/135 bar f/r). I am shooting at 905-915 fps now w/ 81 grain pellets. This is one of my favorite PCP's to shoot now. I am happy with the gun and would recommend it to others.Things I would have changed:
I think the AMP regulators are build too cheap, plastic piston. The second regulator is difficult to adjust (in trigger guard). Both my regulators have shown creep over the past year. FX parts are pretty well made BUT the metal is way too soft. Thus can be damaged very easily. What others should know:
Parts are easy to get @ FX USA. They ship quickly and the staff is helpful. I upgraded to the Huma Air -regulators, and power slug kit. I did install the new power block but I did not see any improvement in fps. Maybe I am using the wrong transfer port? FX tells they are different but didn't explain how. Mine shoots FX pellets and JSB equally well but not Grizzles to well. One hole groups at 35-40 yards.
The ability to adjust a lot of parameters to optimize your results with different projectiles. The relatively light weight. The side lever loading/cocking.Things I would have changed:
Not much comes to mind. What others should know:
My rifle seems to have a leak that is slow enough to not immediately be obvious and that has been with the gun from before I got it. I have never filled the gun beyond 232 bar. While I am not sure how many rounds I should have before it comes off the regulator at full power, I get more than a mag for sure. But I have seen the pressure drop over a two week period after a fill from the Nomad II from 232 bar to about 130 bar as measured by the reservoir gauge. During that time, the gun was not fired or cocked and was always in a relatively constant temperature environment. My calculations say that the reservoir air temperature would have to have been over 252 degrees Celsius immediately after the fill for the drop to room temperature to solely explain the pressure difference. Unlikely, but I am not sure that it is a serious problem at the moment. Only know of the 81.02 gr. pellets (FX and JSB) as recommended ammo. Ordered April 12th and still unavailable.
Got a question or answer?
come with a hard case?
Can this rifle shoot slugs right out of the box..?
What needs to be changed inside the gun in order to use lower calibers..?
