Lead-free, very high velocity, good accuracy, higher starting force in a magnum springer due to skirt not compressing as easily as lead = much higher energy levels from the spring

Increase the weight to 14 grain & higher, so pellet stays below the sound barrier, explore other shapes for the tip

My review is based on a Hatsan 125 Sniper with steel spring, slightly under-damped. Average velocity was 1043 fps w/spread 20. Group of 50 at 70 yards = 8" offhand 1X red dot. Group of 3 = 2". Working well for beer can sniping. If you're using a more powerful rifle, then you may see a loss of accuracy simply because the pellets are moving fast enough to experience turbulence from reaching the sound barrier.

Shoots good, hard impact

A few are a little out of round, but not many.

Pellet to pellet, they are very consistent.

Nothing.

These did not produce very consistent shots from my trail np2. Very hard coating is very hard on rifling.

My 1st gen .22 Hatsan 125 Sniper (steel spring) has been getting about 26ft/lbs, and with these Gamo Luxor's, is on my chrony getting well above 1100fps, plus having a very noticeable 'crack' that doesn't happen with 14.4gn standard lead pellets. If you like breaking the sound barrier, H&N FTT Green's at 9.5gn will be even louder than the Luxor, but with better accuracy

It is not a coating (Copper Plating like the H&N's), These are a solid Copper metal pellet. It is their higher hardness over lead makes them more deadly than lead, since much less of the pellets energy goes into deforming the pellet (no mushrooming). The small plait (flat) on the tip together with the Copper hardness makes them probably more effective at breaking bone than the Gamo Rocket for head shots. This is definately a close range hunting pellet, and it will loose energy more quickly going down range. If your rifle produces more than 27FPE.it will be going faster than the speed of sound and it will produce a large rifle crack, like a .22 long rifle rimfire, making it not suitable for back yard neighber friendleness. Idely these should be used in air rifles producing only about 20FPE to keep the velocity down to about 900 FPS. This keeps the pellet out of most of the transonic region where the turbulence makes any accuracy problematic.

Clean, accurate, very hard hitting (according to the squirrels formerly raiding my pecan trees). Chronograph reading varies only 4 FPS on 5 shot string using a Benjamin Trail NP.

Lower price. At $.16 per shot, they are priced equivalent to centerfire rifle bullets.

I recommend coating them with brass cartridge case lube spray (Hornady One Shot or Lyman Case Lube). Seems to improve accuracy and keeps the barrel clean longer.

Decent accuracy out of a modified Walther Dominator (950fps w/14.5grain test pellets), I averaged about an inch to two and half, depending on wind(breeze), at thirty yards less a number of fliers. Like lead the alloy (copper coated tin alloy of some sort) is soft enough to deform when hitting a target, they did pancake in my steel pellet trap. As for being a hunting round, I still get pass throughs, but they deform slightly when hitting bone and are humane for vitals shots on small game. Despite the tip, pellet is small enough to fit a rotary magazine.

A couple of things need to happen before I purchase these again. Definitely more pellets per tin. I understand supply and demand, paying for research, and so forth, but at 17 cents a shot I won't be purchasing any more until Gamo either lowers the price or they include more pellets per tin. Two, for them to be confidently considered a true hunting pellet consistency between the pellets needs to be improved (at least for this price they should be near match grade) and/or increase the pellet weight 50%.

If you shoot lead pellets, give your barrel a thorough cleaning and lube before using non-lead pellets, it really does make a world of difference. Larger rabbits and opossums require a head shot to be humane with these, but can be taken with a vitals in a pinch if you have enough velocity. Getting said head shot consistently with these is another story. No where near cheap or consistent enough for practice or target shooting. I'll stick with my Beeman eco pellets for target and Dynamic XP2 pellets for hunting.

I did have to reset my scope, taking about four shots to do so with a bag rest. However accuracy was spotty due to inconsistency between the pellets, so getting a true reliable zero was pretty elusive. Example, some would slide in with zero resistance, while others literally required a healthy push to seat inside the breech.

Andy Sep 06, 2015

Did you have to re-set your scope?, and how many rounds did it take you to do so?, At these prices you don't want to use more than a few rounds setting up your scope, If it takes you 10 rounds, that's 10% of your container gone in an instant. Cheer's, Andy.

nice high speed pellets

like these light pellets but maybe a higher weight version

not your everyday or target pellets
clearly for small game hunting or special targets that you want to really destroy because they cost a lot per pellet

This is by far the best lead free pellet that I've used. Unlike all the others I've used these don't fly well above what my 14.3's travel. At 15 yards they fly as flat as the heavier pellet. They also hit very hard because of the increased velocity.

The Price ! Ouch!! But they are for hunting. If not for the price these would be my go-to pellet for targets, plinking and hunting

This is the first lightweight pellet that I've used that I did'nt have to adjust my aim on a target.

These pelletsm are great! I was expecting them to hit high on the targets like most other ammo that light, but suprisingly they were grouping just like the 14.3 g ammo I sight in with. Very fast to the target and hard hitting, I can't wait until hunting season starts.

The Price, ouch !!

These are different from any lead free ammo I have tried , in that I didn't have to compensate for the wait. So far I've only shot them at 10 and 15 meters and they're as flat as the lead ammo.
