If you don't wipe down the metal parts of your gun after each handling or shooting session, you may notice some rust on the metal the next time you pick it up. The fingerprints you leave on the metal surface of a gun have enough acid that it will eventually eat through the bluing of your gun. Once the protective bluing is gone, rust takes hold. Wipe down your gun before putting it away!
The box mistakenly states that it lubricates metal parts. It does not. The cloth is not impregnated or coated with any substance that lubricates.

Things I Would Have ChangedI purchased this cleaning cloth because I thought it cleaned AND LUBRICATED. At least that is how it is advertised. I contacted Gamo about this and they argued that I miss read it. Ah, not quite. The box leads anybody that has a quarter of a brain to believe that the rag is advertised to clean AND LUBRICATE. When I opened the package it didn't take long to figure out that all I had purchased was a micro-fibre cloth that's all folks! Pyramid Air a stand-up company was embarrassed about this and took care of me. Pyramid Air Yea! Gamo Nay!.

Lubricate at your own risk.
This is a very nice lint free micro fiber cloth. The binding is well done, no loose threads. It has no odor to it. Cleans finger prints and leaves a nice shine.
