Finding the right size belt:
- Measure yourself along the high hip at the bottom of your belt loops on your jeans/pants/chaps/hunting gear.
- Provide enough inches to buckle your belt at the middle hole of your gun belt.
- Measure yourself over your usual shooting attire. Generally speaking, you'll wear your gun belt on your high hip, with the top of the belt resting near the bottom of the belt loops on your jeans/pants/chaps/hunting gear.
- Gun belt sizes are usually 4-6 inches larger than your regular blue jean waist size.

Good fit and very comfortable
Things I Would Have ChangedPlease let people know how many cartridge loops are on the belt. I didn't purchase enough cartridges with my original belt purchase for lack of information.
great buy for the money
A very nice complement to the companion Colt SAA holsters also sold by PyramydAir. Workmanship, especially at these prices, is very good. I've spent more for a new trousers belt, that didn't last anywhere near as long as i expect this belt will. That the belt loops will also accomodate .357/.38 cartridges... Well, that's gravy. Means i can use it to carry my backup when hunting.
Things I Would Have ChangedA double tongue buckle would be nice, 'specially when carrying two of the Colts - they're heavy. A drop loop or two would be nice, for those into SASS-type practice. But, hey it's a gift horse at this price.
What Others Should KnowMeasure for where you want the belt to rest, e.g., if you want your shootin' arns hung at high rise, measure your waist. If you want 'em slung low, measure around the hips.
