These are excellent in the Airforce Texan. 457 CF. 10 shots...at 300+ FPE. Absolutely great for Yotes...or deer .50-70 yards...I don't trust accuracy after that....maybe it will work for you (I am no marksman)Things I would have changed:
Not a damned thing! What others should know:
Get out there and shoot as much as you can!! America is awesome!!!
Dirt cheap to purchase.Things I would have changed:
Remove it from your catalog. What others should know:
Works good with 100 bar or less. I used it at 250 bar and it jammed the seal open on my Air Force. I had to take my gun apart, a real pain in the rear. Good for low-pressure use only! OK for plinking, not a serious round for hunting.
Right now I can not give my opinion because I haven't received my purchase, waiting more than 20 days and still counting. In the UPS office the status is the same over 19 days:Order processed :Ready for UPS.Things I would have changed:
Waiting time...What others should know:
I understand the current situation with the Covid-19, but if the package is ready to ship, why so long in the same status? If you are in a hurry, better think twice...
Got a question or answer?
What is the lead hardness of this round ball?
The hardness is : 10 Brunell Composition is : 95% lead and 5% tin .
What are these made of, are they lead? Also what effect is the graphite lubrication supposed to have?
The balls are lead. The graphite is used as a lube in manufacturing. The balls are swaged(hydraulically pressed) not cast. Graphite lubes the pellet/ball dies.
I do like the ammo, but I am concerned about the extra grafite that they contain. You can feel it and see it on your hands when you handle the ammo, and that makes me wonder what it may be doing to my very expensive AirForce Texan .457....hmmm
That's what they use to lubricate the ammo, it will not harm your gun
