Excellent leather tooled holster. As a leather-smith by hobby, being a cowboy action shooter for the past 2+ decades, this is an excellent quality leather tooled holster that would cost much more than what Pyramid Air is asking and to be perfectly honest, I don't know how they can sell such a fine quality piece of leatherwork so inexpensively? I would highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a good quality leather holster for their Colt Peacemaker SAA or any similar type six-shooter.

I think I would have to change the leg tie-down on this particular holster as the leather they used on the one I purchased is truly over-kill to be perfectly honest.

This holster is actually designed after the Hollywood style "quick-draw" holster so I don't recommend placing your prized Colt Peacemaker or any other SAA six-shooter into this holster without using the hammer tie-down or you may find your six-shooter has departed company with you!

As a leather-smith myself, this is excellent quality using good quality leathers and to be perfectly honest here, I don't see how they get away with selling these at this price? If you walk into any leather shop or cowboy store that sells leather goods, you won't touch a holster of this quality for this price! I highly recommend getting the matching gunbelt and then you'll own yourself one fine looking western rig. Now understand this holster is not historically correct to the old west however, for the Hollywood types or anyone just looking for a nice western rig to carry their Colt SAA six-shooter, this is definitely the rig to have.

I guess the only thing folks should know about this holster is, they definitely want to get the matching gunbelt that goes with this holster and you'll own yourself one real nice western rig for your six-shooter.

Looks great, fits my Umarex Colt Peacemaker perfectly. The leg-tie and hammer-thong are nice and function well.

A must have is the matching belt, Holster is a little stiff but will soften with use. Looks great and works great.

I was surprised at the quality of this holster. Now don't get me wrong it is not on a par with a custom made holster from say El Paso Saddlery but for the price it is a great value. I am using it for a John Wayne edition "peacemaker" and it fits very well.

Nothing I can think of, the leather is a little stiff at the loop but I am sure it will break in and hang closer to the belt.

If you are going to use this for some fast draw shooting you will find it fast and fun. Make use of the hammer keeper if you are going to move around anyway that will raise your leg above 90 degrees, you know what I mean like when you throw a leg over the saddle. The holster is made for fast draw and the pistol will fall out if given the chance. Have fun, enjoy.
