At what magnification is it truly equal with the mil dots
The mildot is usually measured at 10x.
Are the scopr rings low? I hear hatsan flashpup, which this scope is being given as a free item has a very high scope rail.
The rings are high. To allow the front bell to clear the gun body when mounted. A 1' tube scope requires high rings to allow a 50mm objective to clear the receiver.
Will this scope stand up to use on a springer?
Probably will for a while anyway. But I would highly recommend using better rings, like the UTG/Leapers Accushot mounts, only about $11 and worth it since the mounts that come with it are single screw and won't hold tight.

Excellent little scope from Hatsan. For my eye it it is generous with the eye relief. On my Hatsan Flashpup i'm able to get just a little bit over 3.5 inches. I get a stable full sight picture quickly and with the 50 mm objective lens it gulps in the light and serves it up very crisp and clear. Focus is good, parallax adjustment is good... for the money and all around spot on little match for the Flashpup.
Things I would have changed:Generally speaking an airgun doesn't really operate at range long enough to need a 12 magnification scope. For the most part, and this is just imho, i think a 3-9x32 is generally sufficient so I might suggest that Hatsan save the money on the magnification and use it toward just a bit better lenses or coating. However, overall for the price this is a fantastic scope.
What others should know:if you're putting it on a Kral PB Silent you'll need high rings and I used highs on the Flashpup.
