Turrets are good and crisp clicks. Like the push lock turrets.
Things I would have changed:Lower price point is always a plus. But not unhappy with optic. A solid mounted AO wheel would be better.
What others should know:Just so you know this optic comes with a rubber insert on AO wheel. Not solid mount like my airmax

Do you mean to tell me that a $600 scope doesn't come with a 20 cent sunshade ? Is there one that will work on it?
The sunshade is a separate item. Hawke has standard sunshades.

Im planning on mounting this on an fx dream line classic. I need roughly 1 inch of clearance for the magazine on the rifle. Is this enough to compensate for keeping the 56mm objective lens above the barrel?
Use high rings to clear the magazine.
What type of scope base is on your gun? What type of mount do you need? Weaver, Picatinny, 3/8″ or 11mm? Do you need 2-pc mounts or a 1-pc mount? 30mm or 1″? Scope mounts intro (Airgun Academy class)

I have 2 Hawke scopes as well as other brands. This is a great scope for that older crowd who's at that point of reading glasses. The glass is clear and the fact that it is FFP takes a lot of guessing out of your shooting. You pay for what you get! And this helps my accuracy when shooting
