Other features:
SR Pro Reticle:
The Hawke Sidewinder SR Pro scope has amazing clarity with its 18 layer, fully multi-coated glass. The 30mm scope offers high-resolution viewing and a bright sharp picture in all lighting conditions. The lens configurations have been carefully selected to offer the optimum performance in low light conditions while offering excellent range finding properties.
If you like clear, sharp, crisp images when you look through your scope, then mount this scope on your rifle. Hawke has a reputation for producing superior scopes, and their Sidewinder 30 models deliver some of the best pictures you'll ever see through an optical device. While all scopes give you a picture, the Sidewinder 30 will deliver one that will help you shoot better because you'll be able to distinguish even the smallest details when you home in on your target. Be forewarned, once you use this scope, all your other scopes will suddenly disappoint you.
From its superior glass to the etched glass SR Pro reticle, you'll be on your target right away. And because of the robust build of your Hawke scope, you can use it on any firearm or airgun; even those with heavy recoil.
The Sidewinder features a side focusing system designed to Parallax from 10Yds to Infinity. The open Sniper style turrets are calibrated to 1/4 MOA per click. The reticle illumination brightness adjustment is positioned on the side focus turret. This allows 5 Red and 5 Green settings. The settings have been carefully considered to produce low enough illumination levels for dawn and dusk shooting. If you prefer the solid black reticle, simply turn off the illumination.
The fully multi-coated lenses are waterproof, shockproof, and nitrogen filled for the best possible light transmission.
This scope comes equipped with a large 4 side wheel to enhance range finding, a sunshade for bright conditions, and screw-in lens covers to protect the outer lenses.

Had a hard time at first going through with this purchase. Was a little steep for my budget. Waited and saved up, and purchased this with absolutely no regrets once I mounted this beauty. Clearest image on any scope to date, easily adjustable turrets, minimalist illuminated reticle, and the crosshairs, WOW! Absolutely the best I have used. Mounted this beast on my Diana 52 in .22. Makes those longer shots even easier, and closer shoots just too easy.
Things I would have changed:Other than lowering the price ;) nothing
What others should know:Get proper quality scope mounts for your investment. This not an inexpensive scope treat it well and you will be rewarded.

The glasses are perfectly clear.... The reticle is a dream.
Things I would have changed:I would like it to be a little bit lighter.... The paralax adjustment without the weel is not comfortable.
What others should know:From 4X to 12X I hit the same spot, but the scope seem not no keep same point of impact if the power is above 12X.... Once I confirm that the scope is perfectly sighted, I will start testing the up and down torret to see if it gets back exactly to the zero... I will make a review once I have more expierence with the scope.

Good reticle, clear optics, illuminated, nice click feel on adjustments. They have a little 'slop' in the feel but this actually works nicely when making adjustments without looking because it lets you 'test' the knob before the click. Built in metal flip caps are nice. The wide parallax adjustment is great, although it is not particularly accurate as a ranging tool on this scope. One of the greatest things about this scope is not on the scope at all: the Hawke chairgun software. Invaluable for long range shooting with an air gun, and a huge reason to go with a Hawke scope for an rifle.
Things I would have changed:I have a few minor gripes: First, the illuminated '+' at the center of the reticle has a 'flare' that extends a small distance diagonally to the lower right when shooting at night. It is distracting and can cover up the target, I opted to keep the scope but I considered exchanging it for a new one. Second, it would be great if it came with a first focal plane reticle. This is true of many other scopes, but it is a little silly to have to plugin numbers into software to know what the reticle means at a given magnification.
What others should know:The focus wheel blocks the magazine on the S510 unless you use very high rings, I opted for low rings and ditched the wheel. Despite the few minor issues, this (or other Hawke scopes) is really the best option I have found for modern air rifles. There are many scopes out there, but Hawke is one of the few companies with all the features that matter for modern air guns. If it had a first focal plane reticle and a fix for the flare issue, it would be close to perfect.
