Refine the aiming dot

Mine just broke down while adjusting windage and elevation. I suspect that a wire must be loose or was cut by the screw pressure.

Very well made with solid metal construction yet lightweight and compact. Solid mounting system.

The sight has one glaring fault! The dot is so bright that none other than the dimmest setting is usable and it is suited for use in full, bright sunlight. All of the other settings are too bright and make it difficult to see any target beyond it. This sight could never be used in low light settings for two reasons: 1- it does not have a bright enough field of view through the lens 2- the glare of the reticle even at the lowest setting would make any view of the target impossible.

The sight window is very small. Finding the dot to aim properly is not without its challenges, especially when you are attempting to use this on a pistol held at arms length. I decided to put this on a rifle after seeing how difficult it was when mounted on the pistol I originally intended to use it on. Mounted back on the grooved receiver using a weaver adapter placed it close to the eye so that the dot is much more easily and naturally found in the field of view. If this sight had realistic brightness adjustment settings, it would be a far better optic but in my opinion, not suited for pistols even then.

Excellent sight.Plopped her down on a Diana LP 8 Magnum Grass Rat(C-Munks)population have payed a steep price. Running it for about 2 months ZERO issues
