IZH MP-656K CO2 Pistol

Yes, it real TT-33, warproduction circa 1943-44. It is refinished nicely, new excellent grips and markings (barely visible) added. So, it has some value as collectors item. Cocking and trigger feels exactly like real thing.

Accuracy is not excellent (2 inches spread) at 6 yards. Point of impact is 2 inches lower and to the left as well.

While it WAS a real gun it will not be possible to convert it back to firearm now. It is single action only meaning you have to cock it for EACH shot.

Looks and feels great. The inner .177 barrel is rifled. Made from real gun parts. Everything is steel except for the grips.

Shoots low, and this is not adjustable. Mine shot doubles and was returned for exchange. This may be the cause of inaccuracy.

Its a real gun thats been converted , all steel not some plastic junk like most air pistols today.

I wish all the original caliber and slide markings were left intact , and if not I wish Bakail would be more carefull removing them , The slide flats were wavy due to the heavy belt sander grit . But all and all its pretty cool , you know it is what it is , Russia is not known for finnese .

I am a gunsmith and I re- fitted and re-finished it to the quality of a prewar Colt auto. no more crude finish and fit , very very nice now.

Weight,balance & "heft" . Feels like the real deal 'cause it is the real deal. This is a real service automatic converted to a BB pistol . so the material is steel ,not pot metal. It's enginiered for ruggedness and reliability because it is a real weapon. Excellent steel drop out magazine contains CO2 & BB reservoir . Trigger pull is smooth & light . Rack the slide or thumb the hammer to cock, either is smooth and positive.Steel mag drops out easily but slide must be pulled back about an inch to fully reseat the mag. Co2 inserts easily and pierced with a couple of twists of the knob which protrudes from the bottom but not much .Dates of manufacture on the frame (mine was built in 1947.. this gun is older than me!) C.C.C.P. and "Red Star" in raised lettering on the grips. FPS. Is higher than the stated 295'. Approx 60 shots per CO2. Comes well packaged in foam padded plastic box w/ spare "O" rings and screwdriver . Good manual ,well translated.Can be field stripped if you know what you're doing. Dull gunmetal grey finish and lightly printed ,non obvious trades says this "devotchka" means business.

This is a single action gun and therefore must be cocked for each shot via the slide or the hammer. Not semi-auto blowback or even double action trigger. For the price it ought to be. Ok accuracy @ 5 meters but all over the target @ 10 ( could be me) I think it could use a rifled barrel. No thumb or grip saftey as found on it's "Yank" equivalent

Here, your chance to get your hands on a real piece of "Cold War" history. This is the Tokarev T-33 servce pistol used by the Soviet military from 1933 'til about the early 50's when it was replaced by the Makarov. This gun looks real ,feels real because it is real. Baikal converted them to shoot BB's but retain all the original parts except for those relevant to conversion.They did this with the Makarov in the '80's but BATF discovered that they could have been retro-fitted to shoot real 9 mm's so they had them banned . So you may have to act fast to get one of these before th Feds spoil all the fun.
Yes , it's pricey for a non-blowback and single action does detract from the authenticity. but if you cant afford a real Luger P-08 then this is the "malchik" for you. Soon to be a collector's item. I saw it on an auction site going for $350 on the "But Now" option. Get it if you're a history buff or a collector. Less maintainance then a young Russkaya

I only had time to shoot a few rounds but my expectations are totally met. It is a military service pistol converted to CO2. Mine has parts made in 1945, and 1943. Now my real 1939 TT-33 has a little airsoft brother.

The numbers on the slide and the frame do not match. I wish they did.
