Boots made to handle the rigors of mountainous terrain, Kenetrek Mountain Extreme Non-insulated Hunting Boots for Men deliver superior support from a lightweight and comfortable boot. Extremely popular among outdoorsmen in the western US, the Mountain Extreme features rugged 2.8 mm top grain leather uppers with a 1-piece vamp design and seamless tongue for superior waterproof protection and abrasion resistance. These durable uppers also feature Kenetrek's flex-notch design and extra padding in the collars for superior comfort. Heavy-duty, full-length, 7 mm nylon midsoles provide superior support and stability over uneven terrain, while the reinforced rubber sole guards around the bottom of the upper give extra protection against rock abrasion. Waterproof/breathable Windtex membrane technology inside the boot keeps feet dry and comfortable. Exclusive, high traction K-Talon outsoles feature an aggressive and toothy multi-directional lug design with deep relief and an open tread pattern for good footing in the snow, mud, or dry ground. Traction teeth at the toe and heel provide extra grip going up and down slopes. Average weight per pair: 4.2 lbs. Average size: 10". Adjustable tunneled top straps of sliding nylon with cam lock buckles provide a snug, snow tight fit even when plunge stepping in deep snow. Waterproof and breathable Stormblocker membranes keep water out but allow perspiration vapor to escape. Heavy duty Hypalon rubber straps on the bottom will not collect snow and ice like most other brands. If you do eventually wear them out, they are replaceable without sewing. Best of all, the tricot micro fleece exterior is dead quiet in the woods!
