This UTG scope has an etched-glass reticle, which is superior to a wire reticle because it's etched by a laser and is much more precise. That lets you get even more accuracy from your gun. Another way that etched-glass reticles are superior to wire reticles is when they're illuminated. The etched ones show the illumination only on the reticle. It looks like the reticle is floating. Wire reticles often have a reflection of the illumination in the objective lens, which can be distracting when shooting.

I like nothing about this scope for its intended purchase and use. A bad product such as this one only wastes your time, money and creates frustration. Mine is stored in the closet and will most likely be there forever as I cannot use it. This particular scope has cured me of Leapers products for good.

The Clarity of the glass at higher magnification is awful, terrible, cloudy, blurred, and the eye relief is subject to one tiny spot through all magnifications to even see through the scope. Beyond 18X the scope is so blurred and cloudy you simply cannot see through it. Also the side parallax adjustment is extremely hard to turn, I suppose a large wheel would increase the leverage, but as it is very hard to turn.

OK glass up to 18X. Beyond that this scope is not useable. The scope becomes extremely cloudy and blurred. Also if you sight in at 10X and increase the magnification to 18X this scope will change the point of impact , nope not talking about the holdover, it changes the main POI. I thought they had fixed this in most scopes long ago, evidently not this one.

03-03-2023: Hmmm, interesting review. I purchased this Accushot scope in May 24, 2018 (just 2 1/2 months shy of 5 years ago), but I just got it out of the box for the 1st time 1 week ago for a new rifle that I just bought, I paid $229.99 for it and at the highest magnification (24X), it is a fair amount clearer than my $399.99 Element Helix and my $479.99 Element Helix (the 2 Element Helix scopes are of slightly different models but same magnification range), it is my favorite scope, very clear and the point of impact is exactly the same in all magnification settings.

I returned it but I did like the range of crosshair colors

Clarity of the lenses and make it easier to focus

Try one first before you buy.

I like that it was a cheaper scope. And it zooms in smoothly and all the knobs turn nicely. I really like how easily it all works.

I would try to make it more clear. It gets real cloudy when trying to zoom it in nice and tight.

Sure its cheap but its to cheap. Spend a little more money and get a better scope. I think the company has potential but the quality is just not there yet.

Clear optics and solid build.

Nothing

I bought this scope for a Benjamin Marauder Field & Target .177 Air Rifle. I have a 200' range set up in my backyard and this scope works okay at the lower end of that range (6-10). If you're planning on shooting at that distance or less then this might be too much scope for your gun. I'm doing 1/2" groups at 200' and 3/4" groups at 300' and that's pretty good for me and my skill set. This scope seems to work best for me in the 200' - 300' range; I can actually use the whole range of the scope at that distance. If you're shooting something capable of shots beyond that distance I'm pretty sure this scope will deliver.

Etched cross hairs on glass. Extremely clear from 6x to 24x. Parallax adjustment from 10 yds to infinity. This is a perfect scope for bench rest shooting. 1/8" click adj. at 100 yds. I will be shooting at 150 to 200 yds. using the Ruger American .22 long rifle.

Nothing

Very good value for the price. The multi-color cross hairs I do not use, but for night time hog shooting it would come into play.

Works very nicely for rodent control. 54/55 roof rats, 9/9 squirrels are not destroying my avocados or the neighbors' fruit anymore. I use this at night , with low watt red LED and black lighting. I use this on a Tim Hill modified .25 MRod. Nice combination.

For the price, this is a good valve.

light transmission is very good. With the addition of the side wheel, parallax adjustment is easy, without removing your eye from the lens. the 36 colors are silly, as the red or green are quite adequate, but it's amusing to try them out in low light environments. I feel a scope stop is a good investment for this, as it weighs 2lbs. and is 17.5" long. This is bound to have some stress with the double recoil of my Hatsan 155 Torpedo Vortex .22 caliber. The scope looks and performs very well on this rifle and if you are trying to decide on a Hunting rifle, then that package is impressive and works well together. The sunshade and lens flip caps work well and stay where you put them.

nothing.

get a scope stop if you are buying this.

Excellent magnification and clear glass for price point.

Manufacturer should put set screw on side focus for adjustment and proper range estimation. 30 yd target is showing @ 100yd on focus knob.

This is a very long and heavy scope even without end caps. I put it on a new RWS 350 mag in .22 cal for distance hunting. If youre not looking to shoot 50+ yds, or your gun cant perform at that distance, you may want to look at a shorter / lighter scope.
