Plano All Weather 42" Rifle Case

I originally bought one for my 'Umarex Air Javelin' and was going to get a more expensive 'Pelican' case, for my 'Benjamin Bulldog'. But, after getting the first one all 'plucked out' and putting everything in the case, I decided to just get another one, for the 'Bulldog'. The only thing I would recommend, is that you have everything that you want to put in the case, right there, and pick out the best placement for everything. These cases aren't quite as sturdy as the more expensive ones but, unless you actually plan on running them over with something, these would probably suffice! I messed up a little on the bigger circle, for the pellets so, I would actually recommend to 'cut' the circles out that you need, unless they fall almost all the way to the end of a cutout. It's hard to explain, until you see/do it! And, it comes with 2 built-in lockable latches with 2 keys. See pictures!!! My take on these, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

My PLA11842 had a defective hinge--the pin slid right out after I'd simply opened/closed it a few times. I contacted Plano to see if they would make it right, but they ignored me.

This case was purchased to protect an expensive rifle. It is customizable to the contours of what you want to put in it. I have space for the rifle, an Emperor and two mags. Four heavy duty hinges that haven't popped off after using them. I could do a Samsonite commercial with it!

The quality is over the top. The price is incredible and its made in the USA. I found a video on youtube posted from "the good enough angler". The video shows this ice fishing locker conversion. Its a great video and the entire project takes less than 10 minutes.

Great value made in USA case. These cases work well for steel guitars, and other equipment besides firearms. Tough & durable.

I did some research and came upon the Plano AW2. To both protect the weapon and keep it out of the hands of the curious I found no better option. The case locks, is really well made and the interior provides a customizable home for any gun short enough to fit inside. It will also hold any accessories and ammunition though here in New Jersey ammo must be kept locked separately so a Plano ammo box solved that problem. I had Plano tackle boxes when I was a kid and I still have them and they still work. The company makes a great product right here in the USA. Fantastic product!

Easy to customize. fits my gun perfectly and will offer optimal protection.
