Refurbished Axsor 3-Stage PCP Hand Pump

I like the simplicity of the design and it's appearance. Replacing seals is relatively easy if you take your time.

The base could have a little larger surface area to place the feet and to keep it more balanced during the pumping process. As Pyramid,i would have replaced the seals in this unit before reselling it because i could tell right away it was well used. Immediately i could feel the drag of worn seals.

For the price of this unit(used)you get a pretty good bargain. However,Pyramid should have done a refurb on this unit before reselling it. I've had this used unit for less than a month and had to replace excessively worn seals already. Out of the box it was nice to look at but the guts told a different story with the first stroke. Drag from worn seals and loss of compression.If you are not in decent physical condition this may not be the pump for you. It took me well over 300 strokes to fill my Sam Yang .45 cal. from 100 bar to 200 bar after i replaced the damaged seals. This translates into fatigue and time consumption. Can i just shoot already?!

Well made and works very well. I've used it to fill a bulk filled QB78, a BAM B50, and a SamYang 909 Light Hunter. Good for filling from empty, or just topping off after a few shots.

I just wish it were a little taller, though it's not really a problem.

Hand pumping a bulk filled CO2 rifle is easy. Hand pumping a Sam Yang Big Bore 909 Light Hunter with dual air reservoirs and a total air volume of 380cc is a bit of a workout, but nowhere near as bad as I've heard some people say. I don't think it's as bad as pumping up a car tire with a bicycle pump. I consider it money well spent, as I plan on filling my 2 PCPs from the bottle and just topping them off with this.
I also plan on using this to run my QB78 off air instead of CO2 in the winter time, for better cold weather performance.
It's really not bad, try one. I'm glad I did.
