The Hawke Airmax 30 WA 10x44 SF AMX IR 10x Mil-Dot Scope was designed with the special needs of airgunners in mind. It uses the H2 optics system with 16 layer fully multi-coated lenses that provide a wide field of view and 4" eye relief. It has excellent light transmission because it features a high-quality 44mm objective lens and a 30mm aluminum mono-tube.
The capped target turrets offer a 16 MRAD adjustment range for elevation and windage, with 1/10 MRAD clicks, and the scope utilizes a fast focus eyebell. The optics package is highlighted by lenses that are shockproof, waterproof, nitrogen purged, and fog proof to provide clear and crisp views despite poor lighting or inclement weather.
The second focal plane (SFP) mil-dot reticle features etched glass, and six separate levels of red illumination can be activated, with off positions between each level. The spacing is accurate at the 10x magnification setting, with aim points 1 mil apart out to 5 mil on both sides of the horizontal and vertical lines, plus hollow posts with mil spacing for bracketing past the aim points. The bottom includes horizontal bars every 1 mil starting at .5 mil that further divide the first portion of the bottom vertical line for long-distance shooting.
The package includes accessories and maintenance items such as a 4" sunshade, 4" sidewheel, hex key, CR2032 battery, lens cloth, metal flip-up lens covers with flip-up removal tool, instruction manual, scope alignment booklet, and reticle booklet.
