The weight maby make it out of aluminum. The new scopes are mostly made from aluminum the mount weighs more than my scope.

I have put this scope mount on my HW95,my HW98 and my HW80 all with the big UTG 30mm fixed power 10x SWAT scopes. The mounts hold securely on the rifle and hold the scope securely as well. I highly recommend them.

4 screws per ring would look nice but honestly I have had zero issues with them as they are.

These scope mount will serve you well. My buddy went with the same set up on his Octane as did my brother on his Diana mod.54 Air King.Both are very satisfied.

I ordered this mount to be used with my HW95 as I wanted a strong one piece mount with 'droop' correction.I was so pleased with it that I then ordered onefor my HW80 and Diana Airking [both know to have a lot of recoil ] These mounts have performed flawlessly. I would recommend them in every case.

Perhaps change them to 2 screws per side on the rings but truthfully with the tape they put in each ring I have had zero scope shift. So really not much change needed.100% satisfied.

As long as your scope is the correct length and distance between the turrets you will be very happy with this mount.

I degreased the scope dovetail on my new Webley Valuemax .20 and degreased the mount. I installed the mount with the rear stop pin fully engaged in the rearmost stop pin hole in the rifle's receiver. Everything was tightened very securely. After about two dozen shots, the mount was creeping back and the scope was shifting in the rings. I removed the mount to find that stop pin had pushed forward in the mount and deformed the mount and the receiver.

Locks to the 11mm Dovetail on my RWS Diana 460 Magnum with no movement

Wider rings with 4 bolts vs the 2 bolts.

The rings do not grip my scope tight enough and this allows the scope to creep. This mount was included with my rifle I tried to use it to mount a 3-12x44 Leapers UTG Accushot scope. The rings on this mount are .22" narrower then the 4 bolt rings Leapers supplies with the Accushot scope. I ended up replacing this with a Leapers #DN460 compensator mount and a set of Leapers #RQ2W3104 30mm Quick Detach low rings. Now my scope stays put.

well machined, well thought out. this is positively the best air rifle mount i have ever used or seen. i have been shooting air rifles for close to 60 years. it took me a couple of hours to make sure that i got the scope and mount properly mounted. it took me 7 shots to zero the scope so i can now get 5 hots on a dime at 40 feet.

i got this scope in a kit with a new rws rifle. i would not change anything for the money this is a great buy. thinking of mounting a muzzle brake to help with the cocking . i have done other buisness with pyramid air. i think you guys are way ahead of you competition!!

dont sell yourself short if you are really interested in air rifle shooting or hunting. get a german made gun. one look down the inside of the barrel will tell you that i ain't lying. you dont have to try out all sorts of ammo to get accuracy with a rws, it will pretty much shoot anything. i just shoot .177 cal balls. the knock down power i almost unbelievabl....charlie m. gap, pa.

Put 4 screws on the rings! This could be a good product if RWS had not cut corners on the mounting rings. I would have gladly paid a few extra bucks for a mount that actually held the scope in place.

I had my scope mounted by Pyramid Air because I thought it would be all dialed in when I got it. After only 75 shots the scope was sliding. I would go with a Weaver set of rings with 4 screws.
