Can use your existing cleaning rod and brush to accomplish the same effect.I ordered on impulse. I did not need this item.

I don't like leaving negative reviews but I wanted to let people know the troubles I had before they have the same thing. I shoot a Stoeger X20 in .22cal. The brass fitting is crimped on the end and it won't fit in the barrel, and on a truly suppressed pellet rifle the cord will get tangled up in the baffles. So, it just doesn't work for my rifle. Since there isn't much to it, it doesn't work real great for use on a 22 rifle.

make the brass end a bit smaller so it will fit down all .22 cal rifles.

Just use a cleaner with a cleaning rod and mop. Much better results.

Get a BoreSnake. If you can find one without brushes.

The weight at the end of the rope is too long to fit into any of my 3 pellet guns (Marauder, 2240, HB22). Therefore I can't use this on any of my guns, which makes it useless. I am thinking of cutting it down, but I am afraid it will take too much weight off of it thus making it ineffective.

This will only work for break barrels due to the weight at the end of the rope being too long to fit other types of pellet guns.

Works very well and recommended, both in .22 and .177, but...

As has been noted by other users, the brass weight is a bit too long for some chambers. I'd rather not have to chop 1/8 or 1/4 inch off the end and have to chuck it into the drill and taper the end with sandpaper or a file to make it work as well as it should. (Yes, you may consider this directions on how to fix this item.)

Despite the necessary modification as noted, I still recommend this product.

This item seems to do the trick. I have only used it on one occasion. Time will tell how durable it is.

I would like to see a heavier brass weight on the end of the rope. The first few passes I made were difficult because the rope was still pretty coiled from the packaging.

Easy to use. One came with my Crosman MTR77NP rifle from Pyramid Air. I used it the 1st time the other day & worked very nice. Have always used cleaning rods but this rope, it's a whole lot Easier & Faster..

Can't feed rope into a Crosman 760 model/style rifle but, works very well in break barrel rifles.

Very easy to use - sure beats cleaning rods, brushes, weedeater line with patches, etc. One pass and good for another 200+ shots!

It works just as well as a bore snake does on a firearm, and more quickly due to the lack of powder residue.

I'd make it a brighter color so it is easier to distinguish in a crowded cleaning kit.

These are a wonderful time saver.
