Description
The Swiss Arms SYNXT air rifle has an easy cocking effort, making it suitable for most adults and youngsters. In fact, you can shoot for hours on end without tiring. Use only .177-caliber pellets with this airgun.
The SIG Sauer pistol shoots steel BBs and has a familiar feel and heft when compared to the firearm it copies. Load it up with a 12-gram CO2 cartridge, 20 rounds and commence shooting. You'll save a fortune shooting this gun over a firearm with loaded ammo.
Steel BBs can ricochet. The shooter and everyone in the shooting area should wear safety glasses when a gun is being handled (even if it's unloaded). Remember to remove all pets from the area, as rebounding ammo can hit them, too. Never shoot steel BBs at hard objects (including metal targets) or water, as that increases the chance of ricochet.

Both the rifle and pistol are visually appealing with a hefty, solid feel. The price is a powerful factor in the appeal of this combo. The sights on the rifle, to me, are very nice, and it is a light gun. The detail is reasonable on the 1911 style pistol. I made sure to tighten the front and rear screws that hold the action to the stock and remove as much excess oils as I could before I shot the rifle, and although it diesels, it seems to be reasonably accurate right out of the box.
Things I Would Have ChangedIn my case, the pistol does not shoot well, but still feels good to fire and has a nice report. Accuracy on the pistol via adjustable sights or better out of the box accuracy would be a point for change, although my experience may differ from others. I experienced some heavy dieseling with the first few shots of the rifle, so it is at least lubed, if not too much so. Less dramatically oiled from the factory would be another point for change. I do not own a chronograph, but It would seem that the rifle is slightly less powerful then advertised, so that may also be a point for change. In keeping the price factor in mind, I cant really imagine what else you could change about this combo deal, other than your own expectations!
What Others Should KnowKeep your expectations within reality- Understand that you get what you pay for, and that something like this comes with the chance of either being junk, or a good product. For me, the rifle functions well and the pistol is basically UN-shootable. I am not disappointed.
Either way, you will have at the very least a cheap break barrel rifle to tinker with and learn from and a nice looking replica 1911 to add to your collection.
