Trophy Ridge 10 Ring Release

I have owned this release for a couple of months now, and it is awesome! I typically don’t do reviews but the review saying there is no way to lock the adjustment body is incorrect and I don’t want that review to steer people away from this release because it is worth it! There is a sleeve over the locking but on the adjustment, you unscrew the sleeve and tighten down the nut and that locks it in place solid. Only negative I will say is that there was not any real instructions provided on how to make adjustments, just had to figure it out with playing with it.

Everything about this release is great, except for the rotating body that fine tunes the length of the release. I don't believe there is any way to lock the body in place once you have it adjusted to your required length. If there is, my product may be defective. I can't believe Trophy Ridge didn't engineer some type of lock to keep the body locked in place once adjusted. I understand the current design allows for more adjustability than a standard "set screw style" length adjustment but I see this as a major flaw. If your stalking/climbing/or transitioning to a different hunting location, you're always going to be worrying about the body of the release rotating out of position/adjustment. Hopefully they'll come out with a "version 2" that will address this concern. You're so close TR. I would pay more for this exact release with a lockable body.

I always use a dual-caliper release. All others I have are nowhere this comfortable. Quickly adjusted for size, comfort and release pull. All archers should have one.

I just switched over to one of these from an old caliper design wrist release that I had for over 25 years. What an amazing improvement. No velcro...just a buckle that's dead silent. I loved that the release will swivel out of the way while climbing so it doesn't "clang" on the ladders. Trigger is clean and crisp, and the release will adjust in more ways than I would use.
