Description
This Dan Wesson CO2 pellet revolver is extremely realistic and has won a huge following. The swing-out cylinder holds 6 shells. Load one pellet into each shell. When you've shot all 6 pellets, use the gun's ejector rod to push out all the spent shells. A speedloader is included and makes reloads a cinch.
Consider mounting the included Weaver rail and putting a dot sight on your Dan Wesson pellet revolver. You might see a significant increase in accuracy!

10 of 23 Dan Wesson 6" Pellet Silver Reviews
Overall weight of the gun and the way it fits in my hand,
Things I Would Have ChangedFeels a little unbalanced, (barrel heavy)
What Others Should KnowLacks a bit in accuracy, fun gun overall.
The heft and balance of the weapon are very similar to real handguns that I own. The fit and finish are very acceptable and the reloading, both cylinder and co2 cartridge are very simple.
Things I Would Have ChangedThe trigger action needs some serious work. I'm a retired LEO who participated in Police Revolver competition for about 22 years. My competition weapons had very smooth actions and accounted for numerous wins in several categories. The action on this Dan Wesson revolver stacks up tension and is very rough, to say the least. Firing single action takes a lot of the guess work out of accurate firing, but the double action is hopeless. Since I paid about 1/10th the cost of my competition revolver, my expectations were lower accordingly.
What Others Should KnowThis is not a cheap handgun. The action indexes as it is supposed to, with a great amount of shooter effort. I mounte4d my red dot sight from Hawke onto this revolver and shrank my groups considerably. I'm 70 yrs old and only wish that I bought this weapon sooner in my life!
just like the real gun

I ordered this gun a year and half ago give or take, and at that time I did a review on it saying. and since then my opinions have changed wildly on it, I do not like this gun, its accuracy is terrible and I am a decent shot. it jams quite often. and leaks co2 like a strainer leaks water. I 100% regret buying this gun. it is unbalanced the grips are flimsy and light and just overall cheap. it is nice to hold and feel and realistic. there is absolutely no power to it. I am scared of buying the new 715 version and being disappointed. It is unacceptable how crappy the "cartridges" are it takes way to long to load them. I certainly do not recommend buying this gun as now it is a dust collector.
Things I Would Have ChangedEVERYTHING!!!!
What Others Should KnowBuy spare cartridges as I bought 12 and already over half have broke.
5 star rating all the way. Size & weight, silver finish, adjustable sights, trigger pull, cartridge bullet load, SA/DA, accuracy, solid build, minimal gas loss loading co2, realistic functions and operation, fit in hand, safety, all around good looking revolver.
Things I Would Have ChangedNothing
What Others Should KnowThis is a well made revolver with realistic looks and operations. EXTRA cartridges are a must . . . . will shoot upwards of 80 loaded cart's per co2. More shooting and pellet experimentation will reveal the precise number of shots I can get from a single co2. Using 7gr range pellets. . . Wadcutter, hollow point inexpensive name brand brand pellets and get good power and accuracy at 20ft plus. Excellent purchase from PA with coupon incentives. Highly recommend this revolver. In my opinion, worth the price.
The feel and look of a real revolver. It is well constructed. Good sights that are easy to adjust.
Things I Would Have ChangedThings I would have changed: Be able to spin the cylinder all the way around to make it easier for loading the cartridges. I read one review that that the cylinder will spin with the cartridges. Mine will not. The hammer appears to be plastic and not metal. I would prefer a metal hammer.
What Others Should KnowCylinder will not spin all the way around when cartridges are in the cylinder for easier loading. This may be an issue only with mine. This is not a big concern. The speed loader is a waste of time. You can load two cartridges at a time so why waste time loading the speed loader which does not fit very well. I am able to get about 110 to 120 shots from one CO2 cartridge in a cool basement. I can usually shoot a 1 inch pattern free hand and a inch pattern with a rest at 21 feet. I am 66+ years old and my eye sight is not good and I dont have a study hand as I did when younger or I may be able to shoot a tighter pattern. I also only shoot Crosman Premier Super Match Wadcutters. Buy extra cartridges. Do not over tighten the heads of the cartridges. Just lightly snug them up. I found that grasping the grip at the bottom makes it easier for removing it to install or remove a CO2 cartridge. Hammer is easy to pull back in single action mode. Trigger is good in single action.
Everything! Characteristics of this gun are excellent. To sum it up in one word.........AWESOME!
Things I Would Have ChangedAbsolutely nothing.

Nice looking copy of a SMITH & WESSON.
Things I Would Have ChangedSince the cylinder release is in the position of a S&W, and not a Dan Wesson (cylinder releases are in front of the cylinder and push down instead of forward, one of two mods that made Dan leave the family business and start his own), I would change the name to Smith & Wesson. Anyone owning a real steel Dan Wesson that wants to use the airgun for proficiency maintenance should avoid this gun totally. A few other Dan Wesson airguns, also sold right here, have the cylinder release in the correct position. Tactical proficiency maintenance can do without the interchangeable barrels that is the other Dan Wesson Hallmark. It cannot do with the wrong reloading system.
