I don't dabble in air soft usually. Love my air rifles and pistols though. This one caught my eye as it reminds me of the old Colt Detective Special snub nose carried in the 70's and eighties by police. A tribute if you will. Being short on cash and wanting something to pass the time in the cold months indoors this is perfect. Shoots around 160 fps which is enough to punch paper at 8 feet or so. Takes .24 cal air soft bb's. Single action only and no co2 or green gas. Best of all it is super quiet. Accurate little bugger too. Works with realistic looking included shells and included bb's to get you going. Love the simulated rose grips and the weighty feel.
Things I Would Have ChangedNot to much at this price. Can't Complain.
What Others Should KnowMade in Taiwan includes eight shells and a safety located by the trigger. Do not remove the orange barrel cap as this could be mistaken for a firearm. Please as with any air gun be responsible and shoot safely.
This Little Honey is a Beauty! It Just Screams "Don't Mess With Meeeeee!" Doing some research on this 2.5 inch barrel .357 Colt Python, It was a standard issued sidearm for the FBI during the mid 1970's. Less cumbersome than the Colt .45, and easier to conceal, it packed a Whallup that would stop Any Threat! What I like about this Replica is it's "Spot On" Looks. Allthough its made of ABS plastic, it dazzle's the eye with it's Realism ! It's inner cocking mechanism piston is what powers the Gun to send the BB down-range.Too bad they didn't make a Gas powered model of this one like the HG-131B. Overall I recommend strongly that You buy one NOW before they discontinue this model forever !!!
Things I Would Have ChangedFor the Price, what is there to Change ? In this case this Pistol Is what It Is ! A Kool little Spring Snubnose Python. It's Totally inaccurate, Lightweight, has annoying white writing on the right side, (which easily comes off with nail polish remover),,and will ONLY use .12 gr BB's
What Others Should KnowAs I mentioned earlier, Grab this one before it gets Discontinued. It will chamber the cartriges for the Dan Wesson, and Smoke house Airsoft revolvers FYI. This is a FUN GUN, But DO NOT REMOVE the Orange Tip because it will Look EXACTLY like the REAL McCoy,,, Thank You PegLeg
Dual-acting safety: When the safety switch on the left-upper side of the trigger is pushed backwards towards the grip, both the hammer and trigger cannot be pulled, making any unintended discharge with the safety activated virtually impossible. Appearance- The snub-nose style is very nice and fearsome. Cylinder lock- Although not recommended, the open cylinder can be flung into the cylinder recess with a snappy flick of the wrist, making reloading look and feel cool. Cylinder rod- Once the cylinder swings out, the rod in the middle can be pushed in, pushing the shells in the cylinder out by about a centimeter. Unofficial half-cock- In order to spin the cylinder manually, the hammer can be pulled back about a third of the way to free the cylinder to spin clockwise. Overall, this spring pistol is almost mainly for looks, or for extremely close skirmishes especially because of the short barrel, less than decent FPS, and limit of 6 rounds.
Things I Would Have ChangedThe accuracy- This is a no-brainer because of the 2.5 inch barrel, but even from two meters away, the plastic bb's sometimes veer off the line of fire and cannot penetrate one layer of cardboard. The grip- The grip is especially cumbersome, most evidently the back of and the bottom. Shooters may find the grip somewhat awkward.
What Others Should KnowObviously, you get what you pay for here. Ultimately, it's a 2.5 inch spring six shot airsoft revolver that has trouble finding its target across a room. However, it's perfect for backyard skirmishes and shoots just hard enough to let a person know that they are hit, but has less than desirable accuracy, even with a hop-up.
Got this for my 10 year old son ... He loves it
Things I Would Have ChangedLacks power and accuracy
The look of the gun it looks real and is a very good back up revolver I like to have an acurett look a like. I bought a 4" version and regret it is to big and clumsey for my shoulder holster and is to heavy for what it is.
Things I Would Have ChangedBetter trigger pull.More sterdy
What Others Should KnowDon't drop it
It is a very good looking gun. It is very realistic.
Things I Would Have ChangedThe six shots are gone very quickly. It also takes more time than an auto to reload. It is a shame that there is not a way to give it more capacity with easier reloading.
What Others Should KnowIt is not nearly as accurate as the 4" barrel version.
Great overall product.
Things I Would Have ChangedGrips are a little too large for smaller hands.
What Others Should KnowNo
The size. This gun is just like the real snubbies in terms of size. Also this gun is as accurate, for what it was designed for, as the real life counter-part. This isn't a sidarm, it's a personal defense tool.
Things I Would Have ChangedDurability. Thats it though. The only reason for this is that it just feels a little fragile but certainlly functions flawlessly.
What Others Should KnowSnubbnose and small frame revolvers are not made for combat. The accuracy buyers should expect is room range "hits" not headshots.

It looks like a real snub nose revolver and the reloading operation is very similar but sometimes the ejection rod get stuck inside the cylinder.
Things I Would Have ChangedIt feels like a toy.
What Others Should KnowThe accuracy is not there but for the looks (not the feel or accuracy) is worth the money.
