Umarex 12-gram CO2 Cartridges, 40ct

Work great in all my guns. Nice and shiny too.

I've only used about 5 of them so far, and they work as advertised. I selected the Umarex brand only because the S&W 586 Umarex brand .177 cal. pistol instructions said to use only them. Hey, the cost difference between the other brand and Umarex was next to nothing, and I'm not in the habit of purchasing a new anything and then doing something that might void the warranty right off the bat. Give me a few months and a few hundred CO2 cartridges behind me, and I'm sure I'll be purchasing whatever ones are the cheapest... For now, they worked fine.

On one of the cartridges, I only got approx. 30 pellets through the S&W 586. I can imagine that in whatever manufacturing process that fills these cartridges, one could get a lesser charge now and again. No big deal. As I'm new to CO2 pellet pistol use, so at first I thought I hadn't tighten up the disk in the grip enough to ensure a proper seal and maybe some leaked out? When changing the used cartridge out, it did not appear loose at all, so maybe just a cartridge that has a little less in it. The next two CO2 cartridges gave me 50 or so shots as the PyramydAir S&W 586 website states... .

Decent price point except it should be a little bit cheaper when buying in bulk. Standard CO2 cartridges, work as expected, just a hair shorter than Grossman which is a good thing!

Drop price by about $4.00 would make this a little ch better deal. These were shipped packed loosely in a plain cardboard box, no markings at all, so I suspect these were part of a much larger order giving them a better profit.
