The Umarex Airgun Darts are compatible a variety of .177 caliber airguns and work especially well in conjunction with an airgun dartboard. They feature a variety of colors and a weight of .9 grams each, in addition to a sharp tip for penetration.

When using the darts with revolver style airguns, it is recommended to remove the rubber insert from the cartridge before placing the dart inside. This also applies to any other airguns that utilize faux brass cartridges.

Things I liked:

have used these, or others virtually identical, for years in my smooth bore pistols and rifles. enjoy the heck out of them the quantity price on them is excellent.

Things I would have changed:

nothing

What others should know:

be careful. these are not 'toys' they WILL penetrate skin, eyes, etc. children should use these ONLY under adult supervision. oh, yes, if fired into a hard enough target they will ricochet (see be 'careful....' above. i do not recommend using these in rifled guns, even if the gun is 'dual ammo'; as they will destroy the rifling in no time flat.

Things I liked:

These are awesome. Having owned many of them previously. Buying them in a pack of 100 seemed like a good idea. -Reusable! (If they don't loose the feathers. Or get stuck in a wall/tree.) -Can be sharpened! -Large quantitie! -Work well with paper and bristle dartboard! -Perfect for low power air pistol.

Things I would have changed:

I have had plenty of experience with this style of dart. So I have a few tricks to repair or extract these darts. One is using epoxy to fill the cup and a pen ink tube to press back in the feathers. The other trick is find a small nail puller to extract the darts from wood. Lastly get a dart sharpening barrel for the darts that hit the wire on a board. 100 darts!.... I got 96. I can understand this. I am not upset because I have some from my previous purchases and because I used a gift card to buy them.

What others should know:

These are fun with a old spring pistol, and a crummy dartboard. Add into that a CO2 revolver and some friends you'll have a winner at a family gathering for sure!

  • smorrison from USA asked:

Will these work in an air rifle? The box says "Rifle Darts" but in doing some research, I am seeing both yes and no. I have a Ruger Air Hawk Elite II Air Rifle that shoots pellets. Thank you.

    • Gary from USA answered:

If it were a smooth bore bb gun, I would say yes. While it probably would work in a rifled barrel, it will damage it. I guess it's up to you. How much do you like that air rifle?
