Fits great and looks excellent..
Things I Would Have ChangedNothing but perhaps produce one without holes for a choice to consumers.
Helps some with the noise,especially if you wrap/cover the holes with electrical tape. Changes the look of the gun a bit and just looks awesome..

Just got this for my Hammerli 850 Air Magnum. It seems a lot of people thought this was some sort of suppressor but that is not what it is for. It is a compensator. The part near the barrel has a cone shaped device known as an air stripper. This redirects the air behind the projectile away and lets projectile leave the rifle without turbulent air behind it to send it off course. It enhances accuracy, it does not reduce sound unless you wrap it and cover the holes. But that will defeat its main purpose as a compensator, muzzle brake, etc.

What Others Should KnowIt is not a suppressor or silencer. Have seen many people say it is just for looks. It is not, it does what it was designed to do.
Easy placement of Compensator on barrel. All I had to do is remove screw from front sight and move sight to the rear and retighten... attach compensator to barrel and tighten the two screws that come with the compensator. All information needed comes in the compensator package.

Fits perfectly on my 15mm QB78D barrel. Uses 2 grub screws for secure attachment and uses metal construction at attachment point. Lightweight and well made.

What Others Should KnowAs stated in previous reviews,covering the holes with tape or other material (I used a carbon fiber look vinyl tape) DRAMATICALLY reduces the rifles report! I'm using it on a modified QB78D thats averaging 680fps with JSB18.1's and the report is Red Ryder quiet! Very Happy with this unit!
It fits my Hammerli 850 perfectly. I used black electrical tape as suggested by other people and it suppresses the rifle great.
Things I Would Have ChangedShould come already insulated for this price. Wish you could install it using the front open sights mounts (they leave holes once you take it off).

On the correct rifle, I guess it would be fine. But it does not fit on the Hammerli 850 with the threaded barrel. TKO Air offers this, and I highly recommend it. Makes 850 backyard quiet.
