Absolutely blown away at how well these things hold on. The front factory scope mount on my TR77NPS moved and took my scope with it got tired of the nonsense and scratches.
Things I would have changed:Add in more replacement screws. The supplied tool is a crap allen key that will round out a few of them.
What others should know:It's worth it.

S O L I D ! ! ! And of course the lever release. Also, I can't say enough good regarding how helpful and understanding the crew of PA was when responding to my request for either an exchange or a store credit_ WONDERFUL FOLK THERE. And NO - I have NO vested interest in the company. I just LOVE most of them and would really like to go and do the meet & greet one day.
Things I would have changed:Don't really care for the STRONG spring-loaded stop pins; springs don't have to be so damn strong!!! And the end of the pins should be ROUNDED, not squared-off like a chisel edge: see below.
What others should know:This is my first SPRING-LOADED stop pin set. I have a question for EVERYONE. How many of you have scratched the guns beautiful finish sliding the rings onto the rail? No one? I must be the ONLY newbie regarding such. But fortunately, after realizing this could happen, it DAWNED on me how ya' DO the ring placement... TAKE OFF OR LOOSEN THE LEVER SIDE enough so you can slip the rings on SIDEWAYS! People, I have searched using every combination of wording regarding this situation, but I can find NOTHING regarding the PROPER way to add/remove scope rings with SPRING TENTIONED LOCK PINS. I ALMOST returned them for an exchange, but when it dawned on me how they MUST go on and off the rail, I decided to keep them. And I am glad because they are SO good for the price. Any who, hope someone reads this before SLIDING the things down the rail. He or she may not HAVE the common sense to be able to figure this out before doing damage to the finish of a $600+ rifle.
