The Vortek PG3 Kit is coupled with a few design changes, distinguishing them from the PG2 versions, that allow the customer (tuner) to custom fit and modify its performance easily having full use of all the spring wire's tensile strength.
These kits employ precision-fitted guides that add beam strength to the spring throughout its use. They use all spring wire tensile with open coils and feature easy replacement of spring fittings, thanks to their lack of closed ends
They perform dynamically as a static and rotational bearing, reducing radial piston movement. Additionally, the PG3 consumes more noise thanks to additional damping resources.

Made my HW98 so much smoother. I never had spring noise with stock setup. However, the thump from the piston was pretty hard. With artillery hold the rifle would want to twist slightly. After the shot my crosshairs would be of my aim point. After the kit the rifle shoots extremely smooth and groups tightened right up. Im using JSB 8.44 pellets, FPS went from 912 down to 766. Made my 98 an absolute joy to shoot.
Things I would have changed:Better directions.
What others should know:If you dont mInd losing some power to gain a much better operating air rifle, I recommend this kit. I would never go back to factory spring setup again.
