One of the reviewers mentioned a rear sight package for this pistol. Can not find it on the PA sight. Can anyone tell me where I can fine the adjustable sight kit? Thanks, Jay
We do not carry the adjustable sight kit. You would have to contact Umarex about availability.
Hi, I've just purchased an Air Chrony Mk 3 and decided to check the ft/s on my Walther CP88.The problem is I can't seem to get reliable readings. I loaded a new Co2 cartridge, set the pellet weight on the Chrony and positioned the barrel dead centre and fired a full mag through it. Readings varied from 335 ft/s to 560 ft/s. I've think I've read somewhere that the silicone oil present in the Umarex cartrige can mess the true readings up. One reading I got was over 1000 ft/s which completely messed the avg reading up. Has anyone else had these problems.
First make sure you are far enough away from the chrono. Being too close gives erratic measurements.
Hello Friends - I have brought a New Walther CP 88 Nickel one.I am using the Gamo Pro Magnum .177 pellets. But after insertion of the rotary Magazine and firing , there is a misfiring and some of the pellets are jammed in the rear of rotary magazine itself. Also want to know in 1 co 2 cylinder , how many shots can be fired Regds

Solid materials and construction. The trigger action in SA is fantastic, really easy to keep this one pointed where you want it. The extended barrel gives it some extra umph and accuracy. Lots of shots per charge, I get about 64 shots (8 mags) before my chrono starts reading in the 200s and its time to change cartridges. My favorite pellet gun to focus and try to get a good grouping with.
Things I would have changed:The magazine opening mechanism could be better, its a lot sloppier than on the 92FS. Change CO2 mechanism to a better design, the thumb screw is terrible.
What others should know:Expensive but if you want to shoot pellets further out, might be your best semi-auto. Obviously you can get more accurate long range guns but none of them are semi-automatic which is what I consider fair to compare this gun to. Chrono JSB Match Light 7.33gr 1st shot: 463 FPS (3.49FT/LBs) avg (2mags): 426 FPS (3.49-2.76 FPE) JSB Match (8.26 gr) avg (2 mags): 401 FPS (3.39-2.7 FPE) JSB Exact Heavy Diablo (10.34 gr) avg (4 mags): 344 FPS (3.97-1.31 FPE) I got 64 shots on one charge before the heavies were just barely coming out around 230-250FPS and it was time to change.
