Walther PPK/S Gas Blowback Airsoft Pistol

Another nice replica from Maruzen, Walther, and Umarex. Shoots great with no problems or issues and has all of the realistic features of the actual firearm. Feels great in the hand and has a nice blowback action. Trigger pull is smooth and easy. Holds 2 inch groupings at about 40 feet with a occasional flier or two out side of the 2 inch grouping.

I highly recommend that this great little gun be made out of METAL. A metal frame and slide would really be a great improvement for it. The ACM/XDY PPK/S is a perfect example to this one and it is quite impressive in metal. But they are extremely hard to get in the U.S.

Buy extra magazines as this is a lot of fun to shoot, Really hard to put it down once you start shooting it.

I got this gun because I have a PPK/S, and wanted something that I knew for airsoft skirmishes. The look and feel of this gun is almost exactly like the real thing. The blowback action is great, with few jams; and it is almost as accurate at shorter ranges (>20yds) as a spring gun I was using as a sniper. I definitely like the double-stack magazines, with 22 rounds per, but this is a green gas gun so be forewarned that you will have to refill the gas with every reload.

The slide is plastic, I would have preferred metal. The first gun I ordered was defective, with double-action not working and a leaky magazine; but I got a replacement which is working great. Occasionally the hop-up will throw a random shot (maybe 1 or 2 out of 25 shots)

Buy an extra magazine or three if you plan to use this in a skirmish (as is a good idea with any gun...). Do not use any BB weight under .20g, as that decreases accuracy to the point that with .12s you would just be better off throwing them. With .25g BBs, the accuracy is excellent for a 2.5" barrelled pistol.
Overall, a great gun and a good value. 4.5/5 stars.

I really liked this gun. I own a real one and this is built to very exacting likeness.

I had to return this gun 2 times because the magazine release button would pop out.The first time I sent it back, they returned it to me in about 10 days. I took it out of the box,and as soon as I tried to load it, the button did the same thing.This time when I called I was advised to request a refund.I did,and received the money back.I don't know why they can't fix it,but they can't.They would not even advise a replacement. I would have liked to add this to my collection but It seems not. Mike D, Secaucus, NJ

This pistol is remarkably accurate for an airsoft gun. I put paintballs on golf tees at 5 yards. Using the sights, I can consistently hit the paintball at that distance. Interestingly, the gun has the power to break the tee if you hit it. Has more velocity than my Glock 19, I think. It is about the same size as my Bersa Thunder but much lighter

If you are getting this for practice for the real steel model, you'll find it pretty light. It is hard to depress the spring to load bb's. The magazine release must not only be depressed to remove the magazine but also to re-insert it.

I got the gun for "trigger time" because I can't shoot firearms every day. I have a Glock 19 for the same reason. This gun serves that purpose very well. It is worth the price.
