Made from heavy-gauge, sheet steel to stop and hold air gun pellets and standard velocity .22 long rifle rimfire lead bullets. Weighs over 20 lbs. so you know it is sturdy. Somewhat noisy but if you want the best trap going, this is the one to pick. Includes spring clip to hold paper targets. 11" (w) x 12"(h) x 8"(l). Use with lead projectiles only.

Things I liked: This trapisheavily constructed & does an excellent job stopping pellets from my .22 cal. Benjamin Mayhem. The box it comes in says it will handle standard non mag . 22 rifle ammo. It would be even better if it were a bit wider ...

Things I would have changed: Make it a bit larger

What others should know: Place a cardboard or carpet backer on the target clip behind the target

Things I liked: Very heavy gauge steel. Stops .25 cal at 840 plus ft. per sec.with little to no noticeable damage.

Things I would have changed: Maybe I would round out the back and bottom corners with a deeper trap on the bottom.

Things I liked: I esp. like that I received the item I ordered unlike the rifle I ordered at the same time. It does what it is suppose to do and that is a good thing.

Things I would have changed: It's a bit heavy, but I guess you would need that for a .22.

What others should know: Also, not fond of the sneaky discount practices. The 10% of they promise you does not include all items even though that promise does not contain the words "on selective items only". The 20% coupon they send you didn't even include this item and again no mention of item restriction.

  • Douglas from USA asked:

Anybody try shooting this with a .17HMR round? It's smaller than a .22 but the muzzle vel for the 17grain HMR is 2550fps and a 30 gr .22 is only 1650fps, if that matters.

    • pepegraves from USA asked:

Can this trap withstand 165 fpe from the 357 Recluse?

      • Stanley from USA:

Description states no bigger than 22 LR .

    • StringHusher from USA asked:

If it can handle the Bulldog that's getting around 200 ft/lbs of energy, will it hold up to the Sam Yang Light Hunter that is .45 caliber? The KE is right around 200 ft/lbs as well, so the two calibers are relatively comparable in that regard.

      • Stanley from USA:

        Same as above .
