Things I liked: very well made
Things I would have changed: nothing
What others should know: came with some chips on the nylon, thinking about an exchange.
Things I liked: Nylon coating makes this an ideal rod for clearing bore and chamber obstructions from .22 rimfire rifles. Jag would work in airguns with appropriate rod.
Things I would have changed: Resize rod O.D. for .22 caliber airguns.
What others should know: The rod outer diameter is too large for my .22 caliber Hatsan 95. Airgun calibers are not the same as firearms -- .22 airgun is smaller than rimfire while .177 airgun caliber is larger than .17 rimfire. This rod is advertised for airgun but apparently is for firearm.
Things I liked: it's all one piece and yet can operate in both compression and tension ( whatever you do, don't get the cleaning kits with the cable ), the rod spins with the rifling, quality top to bottom...
Things I would have changed: i would not have bought the cheep-o cleaning kit with the cable from wall mart in the first place, and would have just got one of these strait off.
What others should know: if your low on dough, you might consider one of the kits here with the thread together rods, but like i said,...don't get the cheep-o ones with the cable or your just going to end up buying another kit latter.....i would suggest one of these however.

Does anybody know if this rod is long enough to clean a Benjamin Marauder rifle barrel? The longer the rod the easier it bends and the more hassle it is to transport. That's why I'm less keen on the 36" rod.
Measured the Marauder barrel, breech to muzzle is 67cm or 26,5". This rod is just too short for the Marauder rifle even with the jag or brush fitted.
