Things I liked: It does what its supposed to do. It has that hardened crosspin that you need to keep the mount from sliding on the rails of your Patriot/Kodiak. Just be sure to install it with the pin in the wee groove; its kind of tricky to get it set up right but, when it is, it doesn't move.
Things I would have changed: I'd like droop compensation to be built in or at least make it adjustable for droop compensation. 4 screws instead of 2 per ring would be nice too.
What others should know: This is what you need for your Patriot/Kodiak but is for long scopes. SportsMatch also has a two piece mount with the cross pin for shorter scopes. So, you have a choice: 1 or 2 piece. But no droop compensation....
Things I liked: Sportsmatch quality (from previous experience with Sportsmatch product).
Things I would have changed: Improve pin design. The pin failed to stop mount creep.
What others should know: I bought the Sportsmatch one piece mount specifically to mount on FWB Sport air rifle. The mount failed to remain in place. After 250 shots, the Sportsmatch mount moved a little over one inch from the original mounting point. The pin left a one inch bright mark on my expensive German springer. The rings held the scope in place. I will add a high quality scope stop in hopes of keeping the mount in place.

One piece single screw angled mount ? Will this mount work when mounting the Hawke Optics 4-16x44 AO Varmint Rifle Scope, 1/2 Mil-Dot Reticle, 1/4 MOA, 1" Tube or is the high mount recommended? Is the Beeman 1 piece mount better? I will be mounting this on an FWB Sport air rifle. Thanks! Jim
