Description
You could look at a thesaurus all day long and still be at a loss for words to properly describe this gorgeous precharged pneumatic rifle. From the minute you open the included hard case, you won't be able to stop the word "WOW" from escaping your lips! That will be followed by other expressions of delight as you pull this rifle from its case and shoulder it. This is what you've been waiting for your whole life.
But pretty is as pretty does. The S510 design has a reputation for accuracy that other manufacturers only dream of achieving. Colonel Townsend Whelen uttered the ultimate challenge for every gun: Only accurate guns are interesting. In that case, the S510 may well be the most interesting air gun in your vault.
Guns are made to be shot. While you may want to preserve your S510 as a collectible in unshot condition, we urge you to shoot your new air gun -- and often! But here's a warning: You may not want to shoot any of your other guns, again, as they'll probably fall short.
Can any other airgun ever make you this happy? We can't answer that, but it'll be a very tough climb for any that try.

8 of 8 Air Arms S510 EXTRA FAC Limited Edition Air Rifle Reviews
Beautiful walnut, metal work, and craftsmanship! .22 cal Achieving 36 FPE with barracuda 21g. Powerful and accurate. Able to shoot teaspoons 1 inch at 100 yrds very easily. Very easy to shoot accurately at any reasonable range for an airgun with a quality scope.
Things I Would Have ChangedQD sling mounts would have been nice.
What Others Should KnowQuiet, powerful, accurate, consistent, and beautiful. What more could you ask for? Very intuitive easy to use straight from the box....did I mention the nice hard case it comes with? Achieves 34 thru 36 FPE with pellets from JSB 16 and 18 gr and H&N Barracuda 21gr. Paired well with Hawke Sidewinder 6x24 56mm. Within 3 weeks, have taken squirrels from 37 to 93 yards with authority.
EVERYTHING. This is maybe the nicest looking rifle i've ever owned - and I HAVE way more than a fair assortment.. The case provides an excellent presentation of this 30th Anniversary Edition and all the accoutrements are beautiful as well. I love it.
Things I Would Have ChangedWhen all the "new" gets knocked off the case - if that ever happens - it would be nice to be able to cut the foam and add stuff to the inside of the case in the clear areas, such as another one or two cuts to allow for extra tins of pellets, etc.
What Others Should KnowBe prepared for the "oohs" and "ahhs" from admirers when you lift the lid on this beauty and show it to your envious pals and fellow shooters. My daughter was impressed and she doesn't even shoot.
Everything...
Things I Would Have ChangedNothing...
What Others Should KnowThe only thing you should know is that if right now while you are reading this you are thinking about getting it or no, don't think it anymore and add it to your cart, it is the best air gun rifle in the whole world.
Outstanding quality. This is a beautiful rifle, and a tack driver as well.
Things I Would Have ChangedNothing.
Everything, Accuracy, Quality, The trigger is great and the nickel plating tops it all off. The metal mags are priceless. You will never have to buy another Air Rifle!!
Things I Would Have ChangedNothing
What Others Should KnowPlease let others shoot this rifle and they will want one. It loves 16 gr. 5.52 JSB's(22 cal).
This .25 rifle is quieter than my .177 Marauder. The nickel plating is perfect, as is everything else. What a high quality gun. The action is so smooth and did I mention it is so quiet. Some people don't like the trigger safety, but I prefer this location. It is easy to use as I am used to this type. I had problems with pellets jamming in my Marauder. Not with the S510. Air Arms went all out in quality with this rifle.
Things I Would Have ChangedNow that I have one I think it is worth it, but I wish it where cheaper. As far as this rifle though, it is the best of the best. It has NO flaws.
What Others Should KnowYou will not regret buying this rifle. It is deadly accurate and beautifully made.
beautiful! absolutely a master piece. It is also a lot lighter than my tx200 (actually lighter than original x510 as well). If you practice shooting all day you will know the difference and be very grateful to air arms for this ! This could be the lightest x510 AA ever produced. Oh did I mention how stunning the gun looks and feels in your arms? well it worth saying it again and again. Haven't got chance shoot this stuff in a ranger yet. But I bet it can be deadly accurate.
Things I Would Have ChangedNothing, simply stunning... Someone may say it is overpriced. But for the homework i've done so far this is the cheapest price you can get in the world. Even cheaper than UK, which for all the other AA normal rifles you usually pay 2/3 of the US price. And do remember if a limited edition is cheap it is no more limited then.
What Others Should Knoworder while they supply last. you won't regret.

This is...amazing to me. I've never won anything in my life that didn't require sitting through an 11 hour spiel on Mexican time shares. Yeah, I'm the one that won it, and thanks to all, particularly to Stormy helping me through a (completely) unexpected experience. As much a high report on Pyramid Air as the rifle itself. The thing that stands out on first look is the electroless nickel finish. I've never cared much for either stainess steel (sharp & unpleasant to hold) or gloss nickel (gaudy & peels eventually.) But since acquiring a government model in electroless nickel, I'm sold. And then there's the stupendous walnut stock...everything the other reviewers say is true. The ability to stack one pellet on top of another doesn't hurt either. Fabulous trigger. Coupled with the 6.5X-20X Hawke scope, it's a combination that will quickly teach all of us both how good something like this can be and teach you how to drastically improve our scores. If you miss, it ain't the rifle.
Things I Would Have ChangedWhile plastic magazines have given me no trouble, they could be a little more substantial. The power control, while marked could definitely use some repeatable click-stops. I'd like some sling studs should I eventually want to take it to the woods.
What Others Should KnowOne of the goofy things about this largess is how it's affecting my plans for airgunning. The plan had been to slowly work through some inexpensive european CO2 guns, then when ready, pick up a high-ish end springer, and then ultimately, something like a Feinwerkbau, or...an Air Arms...or...
So now, the collection exists, no regrets on any of them. But now I have to learn the fine points of something pretty different. PCP.
If you're a newbe to PCP, Tom Gaylord's blog is one of the great resources hosted by Pyramyd air. Reading past posted blogs is terrific...and practical education
And the one thing to know is the wonderful customer service you get with Pyramyd Air.
