Beeman HW97K
The HW97K is related to one of the first--and finest--underlever field target rifles ever made. Coming from the famed Weihrauch plant in Germany, it's proving to be just as accurate as its forbears. Even if you're not a field target enthusiast, you'll enjoy shooting this rifle! It's great for metallic silhouettes, plinking, shooting spinners and paper targets, and accurate enough to do some small game hunting. If you're hunting game and eliminating pests, .20 or .22 caliber would be your best choice.
The quality of the polishing and bluing on the steel action, barrel and underlever exceeds what you'd normally find on comparably priced firearms. The gold Rekord trigger, which is praised by shooters and admired by competitors, adjusts to your needs. The 11mm grooves in the receiver make it easy to mount a scope (it does not come with open sights). If you like the simplicity and ease of shooting a spring-piston gun, then give the HW97K your undivided attention!

Things I liked: The trigger, best on the market hands down. the rifle just overflows with quality, solid feel, very smooth shot cycle.
Things I would have changed: Nothing. some may feel the weight is a bit much, however, this is the trade off for quality.
What others should know: The rifle takes very little time to settle in, ie.. getting rid of excess oils and lubes. Mine was at about 50 shots. This rifle just loves Crosman pellets. I tried JSB,H&N,RWS, and obviously premiers. accuracy great with the 14.3 gr. This rifle is built for accuracy, so it is up to you to make it shine. Poor form, poor results. good form, great results!

Yes, just under the Weihrauch name: Weihrauch HW97 KT Air Rifle...
can you buy just the wooden thumbhole stock,or the adjustable butt pad?
The stock, yes: Beeman Weihrauch HW97K Air Rifle....
Am looking hard at the HW97KT. What would be some of the best scope options for this air rifle? Thanks!
I would suggest Hawke-HK3273 [Hawke Sport Optics Eclipse SF...] or Hawke-HK4026 [Hawke Sport Optics 6.5-20x42 AO...]
