At less than 3 lbs., it's a great starter air rifle. The Daisy Powerline model 35 BB gun takes 3 to 10 pumps to send BBs up to 625 fps (pellets=605 fps). The texture on the grip and pump handle make it that much easier to get a grip and stay on target.
Ideal for plinking and target shooting. It's so light that you can shoot all day! Suitable for younger shooters (with adult supervision) and smaller adults.
Always wear safety glasses when handling this or any other gun. In fact, everyone in the range area should wear safety glasses. Remember to remove all pets from the shooting area, as they may become excited. Plus, steel BBs can ricochet and could bounce back and hit them. Never shoot steel BBs at hard objects (metal plates, falling plates, etc.) or water, as both increase the chances of ricochet. Lead pellets can also ricochet, but not as often as BBs.

Amazing accuracy and very good power for the price! One inch groups at 25 yards, and from a smoothbore pump-up air gun! I have bought five of these amazing little guns. I pump 7 times, because I want them to last, and the power is still strong to drop squirrels at 20-25 yards. (It is designed for 10 pumps, but that seems a bit much for the light design of the pump mechanism).
Things I Would Have ChangedI would pay considerably more if it were made a little sturdier. It is manufactured with an eye toward low price, but it is still a hell of a performer. It will shoot BB's and .177 pellets, but the best accuracy is with 7.4 gr. Crosman wadcutter pellets. I would make it a little more heavy duty, and with a lighter trigger pull.

a carbine version of daisy 880, a bit shorter, sad bagged with right pellet you can get 1/2 inch groups at 33 ft, maybe even better, so light you can shoot it all day, only 3 pumps to reach 25 yards with beeman feild target special lead free pellet 5.56 gr wich i have found most accurate with a few pumps, also for budget accuracy the rws hobby 7.0 grain makes this gun fun to shoot a lot, its so light you can shoot all day with family and kids
Things I Would Have Changedfor the price i dont see anything to change, so want a lighter trigger pull, but this is like the daisy 880, so trigger you can get used to real quick.
What Others Should Knowthis is a smooth bore, meaning no rifling, but amazed at its smooth bore accuracy, many smooth bores have a distance when accuracy falls off compared to rifled barrels, so far at 33 ft my daisy 880 rifled barrel and this smooth bore shoot the same so far. 733 fps for crosman ssp 4.0gr pellets with 10 pumps, and 310 fps with one pump wich is enough for kids to reach cans at about 33 ft. the beeman fts lead free 5.56gr do about 720 fps and give more accuacy
