5 of 5 Diana Mauser AM03 N-TEC Air Rifle Reviews
Accuracy, solid feeling stock, and deep dark finish
Things I Would Have ChangedThe open sights are a joke. The rear will not stay put. The adjustable comb screws could be better. They used the same size screw for front and rear and the one sticks out a lot farther than the other.
What Others Should KnowThe rifle is very accurate. Just a solid thud when shot. Also I bought this 'Mauser' because I thought the mauser banner would be on the rifle like the k98 air rifle. It was not. Also I received an old stock rifle, 2016, this model must not sell well.
Nice rifle and good quality
Things I Would Have ChangedChange rear sight adjustment to a knob or wheel instead of allen screw.
This is a first impression review. Ive barely put any shots through the barrel but just picking it up, the feel and look say nothing but quality and precision. I will add to this as I spend more time with the gun.
Things I Would Have ChangedNothing so far. The fixed sights are very good but I most likely put a scope on it.
What Others Should KnowIm sure there are many high quality pellet guns on the market but this brand is is the best Ive been around.
Well-built and rugged, simple, reliable, powerful enough to hunt to reasonable ranges (15.5 FPE from 700 FPS with 22 cal. crosman premiers), good trigger, accurate (shooting 5 pellet groups off an improvised rest at 25 yards gives me 1/2 inch groups or less with boxed crosman premiers, and slightly larger with polymags and crow magnums). Has good open sights, a good stock and a cheek riser gives proper cheek weld whether using the open sights or any size scope. Not hold sensative. You do not need special scope mounts to compensate for barrel droop as there is none on this rifle. Smooth gas spring that gives very consistent velocity each time in all weather and can be left cocked until a shot presents itself. Barrel locks up very securely. Safety is located right at your thumb, and it is activated each time you cock the barrel which is an important feature when you have such a light trigger.
Things I Would Have ChangedNot much. Maybe make the front sight a little narrower so you can aim smaller, and cut 1/2" off the length of pull (it is a 14.25" LOP, which is more appropriate for a shotgun stock than a rifle). I noticed that you need to check the stock screws for tightness every now and then. Maybe provide sling attachment points.
What Others Should KnowI wanted a hunting air rifle that I did not have to handle gingerly when moving through rough terrain and weather, or that required ancillary equipment like my PCP, or that had a rough trigger or other accuracy or reliability issues/headaches. This rifle fits this role perfectly. A self-contained, rugged, reliable small game hunter you can take anywhere in all conditions. It is worth the price as it is a big step up from lesser rifles. It also serves well for cheap ammo target practice you can do right at your home as it is not hard to cock and can be very accurate thereby challenging you to improve your skills and shoot to the rifle's potential. PA shipped the rifle very quickly.

This rifle fits me just fine . Love the smooth cocking piston and trigger and safety . Very nice overall finish on metal & synthetic stock . No barrel droop . I mounted and laser bore sighted a compact long eye relief UTG 4x Illuminated Reticle Scope I purchased years ago from Pyramid Air . I used Crosman .22 Power Shot Penetrator Pellets and zeroed at 25 yards in six shots and continued to have hole touching groups . Plenty of power and low noise level . I love this rifle . . . A+
Things I Would Have ChangedNothing
What Others Should KnowThis rifle is heavy ! Absolutely a full size adult air rifle .
