Knockdown power from a pistol. Use for paper targets, tin cans, spinners, mice, rats, squirrels, small pest birds and more. Ideal for dispatching small pest critters at close distances. If you plan to do more hunting than anything else, it would be best to pick .22 or .25 caliber.

Things I liked: Accuracy of the gun and feel

Things I would have changed: The gun is very loud. So much so I ended up sending it back for a refund

What others should know: If you don't mind the noise or are in an area that doesn't matter this gun is great it has the sound almost if not more than a 22 rim fire.

Things I liked: The feel, the shot count and the power. I like the side cocking, it is a little stiff but should get better with more use.

Things I would have changed: The case it come with could be a little bigger, other then that nothing at all.

What others should know: I have this gun in the .177 & .25 cal. The .177 shoots at 903 fps high and the .25 cal shoots at 850 fps high. Both guns are heavy and well built. I am still trying to find the best pellet, so far JSB's are the best. Both guns have plenty of power to rid you of small pest.

Things I liked: The accuracy excellent and is on par with my FX ranchero pistol which cost about twice as much. In .25 the power is nothing less than awesome! (700 + fps out of mine , which is close to the power you'd expect from a rifle) So if you want a super magnum air pistol for when you want to just blow the S*** out of something (but with precision) look no further! Build quality is good and it feels quite sturdy. Stock sights are not half bad, but I put a 4x pistol scope on mine.

Things I would have changed: The action is a little stiff, particularly when trying to push the action closed. I suspect that this will break in anyway. It's not a real problem , it could be a little smoother though. The existing scope rails seem a little off standard spec. I had trouble mounting dot sights that fit perfectly on normal picatinny rails. Some scope rings wouldn't cooperate either, but It wasn't hard to find ones that fit perfectly. It is HEAVY. Similar to a powder burning silhouette pistol such as a tc contender or the like. In .25 Im getting about 1 1/2 magazines at full power, though it will fire two full mags with respectable power on the last half mag (but I am starting to see significant projectile POI drop at that point) I think this pistol would benefit from a regulator. I wonder if I could get one fitted?

What others should know: If you are into the silhouette pistol thing, this is a great air pistol . I suspect it would be superb for small game hunting as well, due to the extreme power. Though on the massive side for a pistol, it's certainly more compact than a rifle, and the lowish shot count wouldn't be a problem in a hunting context, since you's likely only be taking a few shots. This pistol is not shrouded and so is fairly loud (in .25, can't speak to the report of the other calibers) Yet, it's really not nearly as loud as I would have expected. I'd compare it to a drozd blackbird or some other loudish co2 pistol. Overall, I'm glad I got one!

  • Shogun from USA asked:

Where can I get a good shroud for this gun?

    • Tyler from USA:

I do not know of a shroud that is made for the gun, but you can try TKO Airguns or Neil Clague.

  • Shogun from USA asked:

Does it have fittings for a shoulder stock to be added without having to purchase the tactical version? Also how does this stack up to the p-rod?

    • Tyler from USA:

Sadly it does not. The Marauder pistol is quieter, has a better trigger but is not quite as powerful.

  • Jeff from USA asked:

What velocity does this air gun shoot 25 caliber 25.4 grain pellets in the actual field use?

    • Jeff from USA:

How was the "About 650 - 700 fps" answer determined? It does not seem that a Chronograph would have yielded this type of answer.

    • Erika from U.S. Virgin Islands:

      About 650 - 700 fps
