Seneca 45 Caliber 138gr Flat Point Slug

  • .45 Caliber (.457" dia.)
  • 138 Grains
  • 100 Ct
  • Flat Point

Bring down medium to large game with the first shot with these heavy flat point rounds from Seneca.  These pellets were specifically designed for AirForce Texan and Texan SS air rifles. It's fairly unusual to see diabolo shape used for big bore ammo, but this one performed well!  In our testing, we achieved consistent sub 1.5" groups at 50 yards when tested in the Airforce Texan. Weighing in at a heavy 138 grains, this ammo makes for the ideal airgun hunting round for these big bore PCPs.

Things I liked: They seat properly in my Texan SS... They shoot well consistently. Conversely the JSB 248 grain Predator XXL do not seat well in that gun nor do they shoot consistently (same with Air Venturi .45 Cal, 310 Grains)

Things I would have changed: Quality control... I would ask for SOME (any actually) quality control. Badly blemished rounds in the box that I got... Imperfect skirts (molded poorly) and deep gouges in some rounds...

What others should know: Blemished yes but they ALL shot straight... seems that seating the same every time makes a big difference in the Texan. I bought these rounds through Amazon and was fulfilled by PA. I will buy these again.

  • Brian from USA asked:

Will theese fit 909? What is the diameter?

    • Greg from USA:

I run these through a Lee .454 sizing die for use in my rifle. Then they work great. .45 air rifles can be .457, .454 or .451. Slug your bore to see what you need. You can always resize a slug that is too big down to the size you need.

      No, these are .457
