JSB pellets have an international reputation for high quality. Generally speaking, most air guns will deliver better accuracy when a JSB pellet is used.

And in case you were thinking you needed a .22 caliber or higher airgun to hunt effectively with your airgun, choose these JSB .177 caliber Ultra Shock heavyweight pellets and see for yourself just how much takedown power their hollowpoint construction delivers.

Things I liked: This ammo was close in performance to the H&N baracuda hunter. Good hunting ammo.

What others should know: Clip and break barrel friendly.

Things I liked: Excellent accuracy in my Benjamin Trail NP2 relative to other pellets. As accurate as anything else I've tried. Excellent expansion. . . the best of any I've tried.

Things I would have changed: Make them expand like that and have a higher ballistic coefficient. That might require magic, however.

What others should know: I haven't had the opportunity to test how these perform at ranges longer than 25 yards. They have the mass, but they are not very aerodynamic, so they'll shed velocity fairly quickly. I would expect them to work at up to 35 yards, but I'm guessing that's so.

Things I liked: Surprisingly accurate

Things I would have changed: Screw on lid for the tin.

  • james from USA asked:

How good is this pellet as far as squirrel hunting goes?

    • Chevota from USA asked:

Anyone compare these to what I consider the ultimate HP; the H&N Crow Magnum? They look like they have potential but the hole dia seems a bit small so greater fps would be needed to open it, and since it's heavy that means a std springer can't do it? Anyone?
