Nice finish, quality screws, droop compensation.
Things I would have changed:Nothing, this mount is solid as a rock!
What others should know:Works very well on my Diana 54. I was worried about the recoil of the 54 ruining my prized scope. With the Dampa mount, it soaks up all the unfelt recoil very well. Scope has not slid, or shifted at all. I am using a 10x50 UTG to start, after testing I feel this mount will work well with my Aeon 10-40x56.

Things I would have changed:The tolerances on this product allows to much slop to maintain a zero of the mounted optic. I attempted to contact PyramydAir customer service several times and was always on hold for 20 minutes at which time the hold system would drop me. I tried two or three times a day for I think three days and just give up and accepted that on one was going to answer the phone so I will just eat the cost and never order from PyramydAir again.
What others should know:My Gamo Bone Collector Bull Whisper has destroyed every optic I have put on it. So if you are considering an Air Rifle then get one with iron sight that is optic ready and good luck finding an optic that will last. The best luck I had is a cheap $30 red dot tube that the switch finally jammed up on but the dot stayed zero.

Excelent mount. If you have a spring air rifle you will need this mount. Its the only way to keep in save you scope. Have it on my TX200, R9 and Diana 350.
Things I would have changed:It works good. It would be nice if it came with some grease to put on the saddle spring and rails. That helps the mount do a better job.
What others should know:This mount is well made. Dont buy the cheaper ones.

Works great on my Diana 350 magnum heavy recoil. The pin stop helps a lot. Id you own a heavy recoil air rifle this mount is the only way to keep safe you scope.
What others should know:Read the owners manual so you can find where is the pin stop. Put a little of moly grease in the spring of the mount so it can work better.

This is a great scope mount to have if you want your scopes to last on your spring guns. I replaced no fewer than six scopes on my Diana 45 and 52 airguns because they were destroyed by the fairly violent recoil action. Some of the scopes destroyed lasted only ten or twelve rounds others made to a hundred or a little more. Since I have replaced the scope mounts/rings with the Bullseye mount I have not had a single failure in over 1500 rounds now. So quite a pleasant change this is.
Things I would have changed:Nothing
What others should know:Several adjustments can be made to make this fit and werq correctly.

Looks Great. Very Good Price and Value. Functions Very Well. Great Having the 1" and 30mm rings.
Things I would have changed:Maybe a scope stop. With the three lock-down screws....maybe not
What others should know:My HW 77K didn't shoot any better with this mount. My older harder shooting Remington NPSS shows a definite improvement.. I'm very satisfied!!

The very solid build and it will definitely save a more expensive scope if you choose to mount it on a air rifle.
Things I would have changed:The overall size. Its long! It barely fit my UTG Hunter that is 15inches long. Dont even think about purchasing this if you plan to use any type of short tactical scope.
What others should know:Use loctite on all the screws even the four inside the ring.

Great concept
Things I would have changed:It broke almost immediately. Slide rail fell out. I used hammer to get back in slot. Stop pin sheared off after 100 rounds and can't screw in last bolt threw sheared pin. Spring is shot. Not much higher quality than spring in a bic pen! I'm not exaggerating. Hard to believe PA would sell anything that is guaranteed to break
What others should know:if you can design one of these that works it would be a hit

The fit and finish were great, should work great just about the same principle as the old Lyman and Unertl scopes that moved during recoil. Tighten the side plate down good and snug and this thing wont move. I mounted it on a Hatsan 135S QE 30 caliber Springer with a Mueller 4.5-14X scope.
Things I would have changed:the only thing would be to make it a bit higher so any scope can be used and maybe instead of one spring make it a double setup.
What others should know:This is something that only time will tell nut I would use it again. watch the ring liners to reduce it down to a 1 inch scope that you don't loose them.

The packaging
Things I would have changed:The description, title and picture.
What others should know:It's going back. The mount I received is actually labeled " Diana" and made in China. Not as pictured. If I wanted a twenty dollar mount a would have bought one. Quality is lacking. Ike

Seems well built and slides easily. Arrow on frame shows correct mounting direction.
Things I would have changed:Nothing
What others should know:Too early to tell if it really works. Only continued use will tell if it really does protect scopes from the double recoil of springers..

I like the four screw straps to hold the scope. I really like the interlocking pinned aluminum (not plastic) inserts for a one inch scope tube. The scope returns to the original position after every shot. The quality control seems to be top notch - little to no slop.
Things I would have changed:Of course less expensive would be better but compared to the Chinese knock off recoil mounts you DO get what you pay for!! Although designed and engineered in Germany I would prefer the unit be produced in Germany or the USA. The scope stop pin should either be eliminated or made more robust.. As it is it's just kind of a joke.
What others should know:This is a great way to protect your scope on those magnum (and even not magnum) spring piston airguns. Adding a bit of droop compensation is a nice touch but it's not so extreme that you can't compensate for it on a gun with no droop.

I like the concept. But that's about it. I'm a master machinist for over 45 yrs. Mounted this on RWS 45. Repeatability @40 yds, 6" group at best. Scope moved all over the place. Tore entire mount apart. Rail Bores in body are not round or straight and surface finish, very rough. Rods are not straight, surface very rough. Bores measured .24a2 on one end .245 on other. Rods measured .234. I ended up reaming holes out to .250. Then turned and polished 2 new steel rails. Next issue was hole location on scope mount blocks were not the same as main block. I reamed those rail holes with .251 reamer to forgive hole misalignment. The overhaul took all day at the lathe and mill. Honestly, by the other reviews, I knew I was going to put some serious time into making this mount perform as it should out of the box. Had I not had the means to overhaul the entire mount mechanism, I wouldn't have bought it. The purchase saved me from having to machine the entire unit from scratch. Good concept.
Things I would have changed:Seriously, Diana, bring the mfg of these units back to the USA. There are plenty of CNC machines that can hold good tolerances and make this a really quality unit. But, out of the box, these mounts are a disgraceful pos.

oh boy a free floating scope mount

The concept.
Things I would have changed:The mount base fits solid as a rock to RWS dovetail but there needs to be some serious attention to detail in the slop in the shock absorbing part of the mount. Scope flops around side to side (left and right) rendering this scope mount useless.
What others should know:This Mount(scope base) with my scope swinging side to side reminds me of a Crow flopping around getting his tail feathers plucked by Grackles...Yes ! That's how bad it is.

Concept ....
What others should know:This is a piece of junk . I went with this on my .22 cal. Umarex Octane which is a very good shooter . It's only problem ( it also has a stiff trigger ) is that it EATS scopes . So I bought a new scope and this mount to protect it . While it might be true that it IS protecting my scope , so will not shooting it ! When you can't be sure of dispatching varmints with it humanly that is what's left for me to do . It is giving me a two inch spread at 50' . That is unacceptable for this rifle as I have shot dime sized groups with it at that distance . There's is a knockoff that's out there for 1/3 the price and I didn't want to''go cheap'' and then regret it . Well , I spent the $$ and still have my regret... I guess that I'm just going to have to live with the fact that scopes are going to be a consumable for these rifles . Ironic that that this cost the same as a serviceable scope .

The Bullseye is a great scope mount! I got the one with the one inch rings a couple of years back and it werqed so well on my Diana 52 that I stole it and put it on my 54 then bought another to replace it. I am consistently shooting 3/4 inch groups at fifty yards with my scope mounted in the Bullseye. So, that says something about the quality and consistency of the mount. No slop at all in either of mine. I bought this because I have trashed so many scopes, more than six, and wanted to put something halfway decent on my springers. Have a couple of thousand rounds on my Hawke Airmax and it is doing just fine with no signs of wear or damage.
Things I would have changed:Make it in a country other than China where there are so many QC issues. ;^(
What others should know:The mount was to long, too much space between the rings, for my scope. I was able to adjust it by loosening the screws, under the rings, that hold the rods and pushing the rings together slightly then tightening them up. The rods stick out slightly from the rings on the side I did this to, but it does not affect the operation of the mount in any way.

Have already 3 of them, on my Diana 350, Air arms Tx200 and Beeman R9. You need a mount like this in a medium-large recoil springer. Keep safe your scope!
