CenterPoint’s Spectrum First Focal Plane line of scopes offers shooters a budget-friendly way to try out a FFP optic.
Unlike second focal plane scopes, those employing first focal plane scopes have the reticle placed in the first focal plane, not the second. This allows for the reticle to change its size proportionally as the magnification is changed. So, the zero is consistent throughout the entire zoom range. With second focal plane scopes, the zero is only maintained at one magnification - a feature normally found in much higher-priced optics.
Other features include a 1” tube, 4-12x magnification, 44mm objective lens, fully multi-coated lenses, nitrogen-purged glass, finger-adjustable turrets, side-parallax adjustment between 10 yds.-infinity and 1/4 MOA (1/4" click value @ 100 yds.)

Inexpensive first focal plane, nice feel and finish. Glass in nice and clear and bright.
Things I would have changed:When zoomed in to 12x, the crosshairs are a bit thick.
What others should know:Worth the money spent so far.

Have 4 of them now, light weight, good glass, my favorite go to scope now. I used to use Centerpoint 56mm scopes for target practice, they were to heavyforgield work. I really like this scope. Chairs to get thick at max zoom but not really noticeable after shooting for awhile.
