Things I liked:

Very well made, solid feel, works well with the Diana bandit. 22 (24 pumps from yellow to red). and the Diana stormrider. 22. (42 pumps from yellow to red).

Things I would have changed:

Cannot think of anything that needs changing...

What others should know:

This is the best hand pump on the market for the $$.

Things I liked:

Nothing. You have to disassemble the pump and rebuild it with lots of little pieces, oil, and awful directions. Why can't it arrive ready to use? It was the straw that made me return everything: gun, scope, rings, pellets, extra magazine, and the pump.

Things I would have changed:

See above

What others should know:

If they know how to build pumps from the ground up, they will be fine. Otherwise, they will be like me.

    Things I liked:

I got this pump with the Crosman 3622 Kit. It's my first pcp air pump. I didn't go into pcp blind. I've read about it over the years. After getting it put together and broken in according to the instructions. I had no problem charging the Crosman 3622 to 2000psi. The dial does glow after shining a light on it. If you are going to charge a pcp gun to 2000psi, you will do good with it. The pump kit has the tools to put it together. But you will need two good wrenches to change out the moisture filter. Rebuilding parts are included in the kit.

    Things I would have changed:

Air Venturi could include better instructions on assembly. The instructions show a pin holding the handle. No, it uses two screws which I think is better. An allen wrench is included. But make sure the center hole on the handle is facing down over the hole on top of the pump. Also go slow and make sure you are not cross threading the screws. That goes for the rest of the assembly. Make sure all threaded connections are spin freely before you tighten with the included wrench. Considering the hand pumps are really only good to 2000psi and maybe 3000psi is it. Being 62, and having tried a pump when it's pushing 4500psi, no thank you.

    What others should know:

It's a good pump for the 3622 and starting out on pcp.

    Things I liked:

Pump works fine for pcp a bit of work physically, but was as expected, quality of construction very good except for bleader

    Things I would have changed:

I probably over tightened it, no cautions in instructions, could not get it to stop. Well upon disassembly broke, nylon seal also rolled over, poor design/ or seal body with Teflon tape and be more gentle? Anyway, made a more robust bleeder that works perfectly, sent info to pyramid

    What others should know:

definitely good pump for the price

    Works great. No problems.

    Things I would have changed:

    No changes necessary.

    What others should know:

I made a stable platform by joining two 2x8's together. Then lag screwed the pump to the boards to make a stable base. Then; pump slowly, breath in on the upstroke, breathe out on the downstroke. Pause slightly at the top and bottom strokes as instruction suggest. LDT 63 YOA

    Things I liked:

it works, gamo arrow fills nicely.(125cc) takes a while on an airforce tank(490cc) but it gets there.....maybe, eventually.

    Things I would have changed:

make it a foot pump, honestly if you need to use your bodyweight to do the work your legs are much better suited for the task. also the hand grip texture bites into the hands, not a problem with a foot pump. clip for hose and plug, thing just dangles about during transporting and the plug is the only thing keeping debris out of the fitting.

    What others should know:

the pressure gauge, IT GLOWS IN THE DARK!!! need adjustable wrench and flathead screwdriver to assemble/oil pump, the tools included will get you to the finish line but not over it. ware gloves, the grip texture is harsh after a while. silicon spray is not as good as the silicon oil.

    Things I liked:

Stainless tubes, handgrip and easy connection.

    Things I would have changed:

Make it a 2-stage pump, thicker footpads, much better instructions including blowup diagrams for rebuilds.

    What others should know:

The workout will be even worse if yours gets weaker and won't fully pump up, and leaks off before you can open the bleed valve. Contacted Pyramid.

    What others should know:

This is my first air rifle and hand pump. Maybe handpumps are all hard to use. I can pump this thing and tire myself out and the gauge barely moves. I had to purchase a compressor pump, spend more time trying to hand pump it then shooting the air rifle

    Pump will go to 4500psi/310bar

    Things I would have changed:

    Needs stronger feet

    What others should know:

Good pump for the money, but over 4000psi the feet dont hold up to the force on the handle and can bend. Feet need to be changed to a harder metal, the sheet metal is not holding up.

    Things I would have changed:

does not give out much air takes for ever to fill a rifle gets hard to push at end strokes when rifle starts to get filled up

    What others should know:

used it twice to air up a rifle and bought a compressor i fell the hand pump was a waste of money and will never use it again and say keep saving and get the compressor and be done with it

    Things I liked:

    Quick connect.

    Things I would have changed:

Assembly instructions are horrible. Once you get over 1500 psi, the force required to pump is far to high for the average user. Before I bought it, I asked Pyramyd Air if it was a good choice and they said yes. Well bs, This thing is not suited for a high psi gun.

    What others should know:

    Do not buy

    What others should know:

It's not like using a bicycle tire pump you dont want to use it fast make sure you keep the pump straight and even when you use it when you first start pumping it might leak push the hose and fill probe tight with one hand and pump a couple of pumps and it should seal

    Things I liked:

Pump works well, is portable, seems rugged.

    Things I would have changed:

It takes a lot of pumping to get up to 3000 psi, and I cant get it up much higher than that.

    What others should know:

I ended up buying an electric compressor for my Avenger .22. I will probably keep this hand pump as a backup, but it wont get much use.

    Things I liked:

Looks nice (shiny!) with lots of stainless steel & brass (both have excellent wear characteristics), looks and feels quite sturdy. I can fill the (rather small) air tank on my Benjamin Marauder to 2500 psi (about full - will fire three 8 round magazines with some usable pressure still left over) in about 40 pumps total, without breaking a sweat. Stores well, as foot pedals fold up, and the soft plastic handle pads are a nice touch - those handles can be brutal on your wrist bones/cartilage, after a prolonged session of hand pumping! Assembles quickly & easily. Seems like a REALLY good entry level PCP pump for people on a budget.

    Things I would have changed:

Takes FOREVER to put any usable pressure in either of my two 3000 psi 48 cu (cubic inch) tanks, for my full auto air rifle, and the workout is exhausting - and sore muscles the next day too, just to add insult to injury, plus actually filling one to 3K is next-to-impossible in just one session of pumping, or even two . Do NOT expect to use this pump on anything major unless you exercise REGULARLY (i.e. 3x a week or more). Pump also makes a low grinding sound, when pumped under high pressure, if you put any more-than-moderate lateral (sideways) pressure on the pump handle, so ALWAYS pump straight-up-and-down, or the parts grind - and I strongly suspect that means the pump will wear out prematurely, if not used in a careful and disciplined manner, more so than I'd have normally expected. Pump can be a bear to push down, at full pressure, unless you are fat like me; and the (considerably milder) pull on the up stroke uses muscles that seldom get used, so expect to be sore there too.

    What others should know:

For all its faults, which are mostly just limitations (due to price), this seems to me to be a very decent entry level PCP pump, and I am actually quite pleased with it. It makes a *serviceable* backup for filling my large tanks - in an emergency only, lol! - and does a very nice job of quickly and easily filling the smaller tank on my Benjamin Marauder, which will be its primary purpose, from now on. I definitely feel like I got my money's worth, and can recommend this pump, without hesitation, to anyone else that's on a budget & needs to pinch their pennies, like me. I *will* be investing in a portable electric pump soonest, though, for the 48 cu bottles. Trying to fill them with this hand pump reminds me of Sisyphus rolling that damned rock uphill for all eternity in Hades - there just ain't no END to it!
