    Things I liked:

Well It's relatively cheep to fill my Valken M17 paintball launcher

    Things I would have changed:

The handle I make it softer and put a seat on it when it starts to get towards the end of a fill I have to put all my body weight on it to finish which requires my skinny but to be placed on it and literally squat in order to get the pump to go all the way down

    What others should know:

Works well if all you have is one gun or two only shoot now and then and there only 3000 psi or less but if your planning to shoot a lot I'd go with something like the Umarex Ready Air Portable or Air Venturi Nomad II unless you have deep pockets

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

It works well for being a hand pump. It still takes some effort as expected to pump up the avenger but I think it will be very reliable.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

Be ready for a bit of a workout

    Things I liked:

Like the way it's made. Sturdy construction. Brought this for my Umarex Saber Air Rifle.

    Things I would have changed:

Would make it 5in'' taller. Foot rest more thicker. Would put a filter on side of it.

    Things I liked:

good ergonomics, steel braided air line quick disconect

    Things I would have changed:

    Larger gauge

    What others should know:

Pumps easily to 2100 psi for me hard after that. I don't know if I could get to 3500psi

    Things I liked:

Appears to be well made. I assembled and tested however never had the chance to use. Weapon that I bought this for malfunctioned and could not be used so I sent this pump back.

    Things I would have changed:

Never had a chance to use this pump in the field. Returned before using.

    What others should know:

It is a hand pump, it is going to take some effort. If you are not physically fit or incapable of moderate exercise you may want to pass on this.

    it really easy to use.

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

Easy to use. Capable of as much pressure as I am likely to need.

    Things I would have changed:

Manual could use a better copy editor. 14 accesory items are numbered in the photo on the inside front cover. Only 13 are identified. The unidentified ones are the screws that fasten the handle to the column. The figures 7-2 and 7-3 do not match the G9 pump which attaches the handle with two screws from the top rather than one from the side

    What others should know:

The side of the handle with three holes in the middle goes down. The side with two holes goes up. The two long screws not identified in the accesaories photo go into those two holes. Don't forget to close the bleeder valve before you start pumping. Don't forget to open the bleeder valve before you remove the fill probe from the gun (or from the pump whip).

    Verified Purchase

    Things I liked:

It works well, fill your gun AFTER you have used it. I have a 3000 psi scuba tank I use to fill most of the way. Then hand pump from there. I can't get it to 4500 psi but have gotten it over 4000 by hand.

    Things I would have changed:

It comes with everything you need except someone to pump.

    What others should know:

Makes your decision to purchase an electric 300bar pump a bit easier.

    Things I liked:

Gets the job done and it is not so much of a workout when used with either the GAMO Urban .22 or the HATSAN FlashPup Syn .22. After 10 shots with the Urban, I needed to pump about 30 strokes to bring the pressure from 2000 psi back up to 2500 psi or 60 strokes to bring the pressure to 2800/2900 psi. In the case of the FlashPup, I needed to pump 65 strokes to bring the pressure from 130 back up to 200 bars after 20 shots.

    Things I would have changed:

Assembly instruction calls for improvement. So many spare o-rings and other items are included and I was not sure if I needed to install some. Especially confusing is the pressure gage - it came uninstalled and I had to guess if I needed to put a seal or an o-ring when attaching it to the pump. I simply guessed none is needed and just screwed the gage in - well, I guess I guessed correctly because the pump works and it does not leak. The supplied microbore hose is too short. I had to place the pcp gun I'm charging on the floor in order not to stress the hose ends. I needed to stoop down low or get on my knee to check the fill pressure on the gun I was charging.

    What others should know:

I replaced the short microbore hose which is approximately 20" with a longer 36" hose. This way. I can charge a rifle standing upright or laid down on a bench which makes it easier to check the pressure during fill-ups. The G9 connectors have 1/8" BSPP threads.

    Things I liked:

This pump will get the job done, but boy is it a workout. You have to perfect your technique of putting your full body weight into it for much over 3500 psi. Nevertheless, it will get to 4000+ psi, which I need for my Avenger.

    Things I would have changed:

The fold-up feet may not be such a useful idea. The in-line filter needs to be changed to the opposite end of the whip. Because of the in-line filter, even with the extender/adapter, I still have to remove my DonnyFL Sumo moderator to connect the whip.

    What others should know:

I'm about 140 lbs, and could get the pump up to full pressure only after a month of working out!

    Things I liked:

    Seems well made

    Things I would have changed:

make it longer, I'm 6'1" and it's hard to push down at pressure

    What others should know:

Not possible to reach 4300psi for my Air Venturi Avenger.

    Things I liked:

Works exactly as advertised. Fittings work well with no connection problems.

    Things I would have changed:

Some how make it easier to pump.

    What others should know:

I am 6 ft tall and 250 pds. Can only pump 2800 psi. Oh yeah I'm 81 years old so maybe that is part of the problem.

    Things I liked:

First pcp pump and it does the job.

    Things I would have changed:

Better be in shape to fill a bottle from empty to 3000psi but no for the price it works great.

    What others should know:

Pump works great but follow instructions wait instructions are half a@@ but pump is simple to operate.

  • Rating 2.02.0 2.0

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

Pump seems to be well built and decent quality. I only needed to attach the comfortable handle with two provided screws and allen wrench (I think). So, I haven't actually created any pressure with the pump other than the pressure test with the provided test plug (in QD end of hose) - tested fine and held pressure for several minutes - more below. Very cool that it comes with extra (?) parts for wear items. Shipping was fine - delivered in time advertised. Assuming the pump works as advertised - this is a great value unless you are not in the best shape to operate a pump in general.

    Things I would have changed:

The manual is a disgrace. There is nothing in there to tell you whether or not the pump is ready to go out of the box, but there is a couple diagrams for how to replace the wear items (check valve, moisture filter, o-rings) - initially i thought this might mean I needed to install the bag of those parts before using. Thank you to those that made it a bit clearer here on these reviews. I have two different 1/8"BSPP female to QD adapters for my air arms fitting that don't seal in the QD on the hose (one is an "Air Venturi" brand. The threads are nice and tight but the QD part is loose - very much so compared to the included test plug & I can see the test plug end (that seals up to the oring in the QD) is bigger on the test plug than both of the adapters. I don't really know if the pump works yet (or my gun)... The pump also came well oiled - wish more of it stayed in the pump though, seems to ooze out around the base block. Not a big concern as long as it works...

    What others should know:

I'm not really angry, but the situation is completely avoidable by including some common adapter options with the pump (that work). I don't have unlimited free time or $ to keep trying different adapters or a hose until I get one that works. I don't really think the issue is the pump itself but the specific parts. Not sure what kind of support to expect at this point.

    Things I liked:

This pump, like others, has some pro's and cons' The pros: (1) It's well built and actually worked from out of the box. (2) It performed well with my recently purchased Air Venturi Avenger,22 caliber. (3) The grip was designed well and had no slipping while pumping (4) Spare parts, rings and tools came with the pump. (5) Ease of connecting and disconnecting to/from the Avenger rifle. The cons: (1) Very difficult in getting up to 3,000 and had to force my entire weight. (2) Had to retire the pump in favor of an air compressor. (3) Having to do 190 reps of deep knee bends. (4) A small base to plant one's feet; needs to be larger. (5) Most women would have a difficult effort to pump up to 3,000 pressure, requiring a body-weight of 225 lbs or more!

    Things I would have changed:

    (1) A larger base for us larger feet guys. (2) Have it NOT made in China. And the same goes for the Avenger rifle. (3) Have it built in the U.S for quality, endurance, and resulting in less failures over time.

    What others should know:

This pump is an exercising machine. If you shoot 100 rounds or more per day and have to re-pump, you will lose 20 lbs. in no time. As an elderly man the exercising had me winded after 130 reps. To get it up to 3,000, I had to pause (rest for a while) and then added enough for a total of 190 reps. I purchased my air-compressor through Walmart and it cost far less than the air compressors at Pyramyd. And it works well up to 4,250 lbs of pressure; it could go higher and only took about 5.5 minutes from 2,000 lbs pressure. The air-compressor did not have a auto-turn off feature as is the case with more expensive ones.

    Things I liked:

    Overall looks great

    Things I would have changed:

Would make the feet out of thicker steel so that they would not Bend. Would keep a better eye out on the check valves some are Detective. Could not give better evaluation because when connected to my gun the gun would not hold pressure so I cannot evaluate the pump. seem to work good when it did

    What others should know:

Not all Products are perfect sometimes we have one that slips through quality Control. little patience pays off

    Things I liked:

I have not used the pump because I do not have the correct coupler. I did test the pump as directed by the instructions and the test performed as expected.

    Things I would have changed:

    N/A

    What others should know:

I was advised by the Pyramyd Air chat room to purchase the AV00033 coupler for my Stoeger XM1 air rifleI. I did not know it was a male coupler and it will not work with my XM1 Stoeger air rifle. I phoned Pyramyd Customer Service twice and was told I would get a return call - that never happened. I need a female coupler but do not what part number to request. I could not find the coupler in the catalogue. Please have customer service contact me to discuss. Bryan McConnell at (626) 824-1012. Thank you

    Things I liked:

I like that this product works out-of-the-box (I've had it for a couple of weeks now) and very little assembly is required. I have pumped a Ninja 48 cu in paintball air tank multiple times to near 3000 psi since receiving the pump, and it has held up without air leaks or other problems. It comes with a shortened instruction manual and a small rebuild kit for replacing certain o-rings or washers when they fail. I look forward to being a satisfied owner of the Air Venturi G9 hand pump for a long time.

    Things I would have changed:

I look forward toward the day when high pressure air hand pumps do not require any o-rings, washers, or lubrication of any kind.
