I received the XII faster than I was told. I opened the box and was not disappointed with feel of the scope or light. They feel extremely sturdy and well made. I followed the startup instructions and didn't have any issues. Once I adjusted the eye relief the screen inside looked great. The menu is a lot less scary to use than I was thinking. I noticed in order to maintain a good pic at different distances you have to adjust the focus more than on a non-digital scope. But that is no big deal. The pic is still ok but just not perfect without little adjustments. All of the knobs feel sturdy and snug. I ordered the upgraded IR illuminator and the battery pack. Before the battery pack was charged I threw some cheap industrial Energizer AA batteries in it and was messing with the WiFi, and the batteries only lasted 30 minutes or so. ATN says 1 hour on regular batteries. But I attribute the short life to the batteries I used. They are junk. I haven't used the battery pack yet but the night vision is amazing! And also just as day scope this thing is awesome. I haven't put it through it's paces on a gun, but if the rest of my ATN experience is as good as I imagine, I am going to be having some fun times to come.

Have not had time to work with it long enough yet, I think it is a lot smarter than I am. Waiting on new sad card think the first one was not good enough when it gets here hope the weather warms up some to be able to have more time to play with it, hope I can figure it out.

Amazing piece, more of a tuned camcorder you shoot through than anything else. Night vision is much better than expected, especially when paired with the Pro IR illuminator (prefer it over the one that comes with it, good but it found its place on another rifle). Simple to use, navigate menus, setup, and zero. Feels heavier than 2.5 pounds on the rifle (I know its not, just feels). I wish I was better with tech to write a better review, but I am thoroughly happy with this.

I am writing a review on a product that I purchased entirely on my own. I have drooled over having a night scope and then the X-Sight came out and I jumped on it. I have the Gen 2 model. The focus knob is a bear to turn for some reason but otherwise the rest of the controls are great. I suggest the external power pack as it eats batteries like candy. I also watched a half dozen YT videos as a picture is worth a thousand words. I am using this on my PCP .357 Evanix BA with 105g bullets. I mounted quick disconnects on the scope so I can move it to my AR as needed. I really dont have anything bad to say about it. I know about the pixelation at zoom but I can live with that as I am not shooting eggs at bees at 100 yards. The night scope works awesome. I did upgrade to a larger IR light. I am waiting for the scroll mouse to come out in April. I dont think anyone can go wrong for the value of this product. The fact that it is software upgradeable makes it a plus.

This scope is worth the price. If you are looking for a scope that will help you see coyotes at night, and video your hunts, this is the best scope to go with for the money. I have been using this scope for a month and so far the only issue is you cant't keep it in AA's. I will be purchasing a battery pack soon.

I have to admit, I was a little skepticsal about this product. I am happy I made the purchase. I have mine sitting on top of my Ruger American 270 and it works flawlessly. The ballistic calculator is awesome. I have all my rounds programmed in. Makes everything so easy. Haven't tried night time yet. All in all I have no complaints.

So far it is amazing for basically a camcorder set up as a scope. The many features are very good. I got it for the night scoping and it is very good for the price. I have some quality scopes and the clarity can not be beat but I did not get it for the clearest glass but for the features. If you are hunting for fast game or anything else that requires fast reflexes so not get it. This is meant for a leisure set up which means it meets the demand for most people. Zooming is the only issue. When you zoom way out it is grainy. They did provide a cap with a small hole to mitigate this. Otherwise it is a 5 star for the future of scoping.

I have had this scope for several months now and i love it. I have it programmed for 3 different rifles with easy of swapping between them you dont haft to choose which one to mount it on. Night vision works great with the new upgraded ir and customer service is top notch. Would definitely buy again and have several friends with orders on the way.

The ATN X-Sight II 5-20 has been a great addition to my optics solutions. It is a great value and I don't think it can be best for it's price point. I have not experienced any problems with it and have had it for about 6 months. In that time I have used it to hunt coyotes, opossums, and rats... And it's performed great on my AR15, my 10/22, and my.22 pellet rifle. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it is pretty heavy... That said, I still love it and have bought other ATN products because of the great experience I've had with the X-Sight. I highly recommend it!

Bang for the buck! I love my new 5x20 ATN scope. I mounted it on my .308 AR platform and have tons of fun shooting.

This is a foe or predator's worst enemy at night. This is worthy of my nemesis .308. You can hammer steel at 400 meters at night and I've only tested her out to 970+/- in the day. I use reloads so it was initially hard to set the dope but my son watched on his iPad thingy and trued my rifle to my scope. This scope is scary good and ruthless behind a steady hand. I ordered it in February and ATN back-ordered hundreds of them for months waiting on some Chinese parts but once OP got them in they were quick to mail it late May. I wish I ordered two. Pros: Superior value; well constructed Drives Tacks superior optics, day and night awesome video via wi-fi better than some of my older military thermal gear Cons: They're so popular it's difficult to get them! Best Used for: Hunting, and whatever else you can think of that needs a powerful, high-quality scope. hunting/tactical/operators

Best scope ever it does everything I bumped up my illuminator too the ATN IR850 Pro and it's like a floodlight out too about 300 yards I couldn't be happier and customer service was outstanding at ATN I'm saving for my next one already lol

I received my ATN X-sight II 5-20 and mounted it to my AR platform rifle in 6.5 Grendel and I tell you what the one shot sight in function is awesome in no time I had it sighted at a 100 yards. Image quality is excellent. A little blurring occurs when zoomed in at 20x, but that is to be expected. Night Vision function is Green or Black & White. Works very well, the scope includes a IR flashlight which works out to say around 150 to 175 yards . I'm hoping to upgrade to the ATN IR850 Pro Long Range IR Illuminator for a little longer night range but for now the Ir light that came with the scope is awesome The range finding function is very impressive it works great and accuracy is great as I compared it to my laser range finder and it was within one yard just about every time and at different yardages ,The most important thing with the range finder function is knowing the correct height of the animal or object that you are ranging .The ballistics feature is great being able to input your cartridge profile and the scope pretty much does the rest to calculate shot placement. This x-sight 2 is packed with so many features like, range estimation,one shot zero and shot adjustment, that I mentioned above , also video capture that I will be using this hunting season , geo tagging, WiFi which I will be using along with the ATN obsidian mobile App and my tablet to watch while my 10 year old daughter hopefully bags her first whitetail and I'm sure I will be using the hdmi video sharing if she does indeed bag her first deer.This is a very fun scope to use and with the all the options/functions to choose from I'm sure it will never get boring. Being an avid hunter I really liked the idea that I can use this on my crossbow and firearms . The battery life on this scope is around eight hours using 4 AA Lithium batteries, 1.5 V .I am hoping to upgrade to the ATN Power Weapon kit with the 16,000 mAh Battery Pack which is stated to last 22 hours and that would really help me out being able to run it longer without a battery change. I love this scope really unbelievable Features for this Price and the scope was easy to set up ,easy to update the firmware , easy to mount easy to sight in and most of all easy to use it's a joy really to use . And I will add Customer service is great I had read a few reviews saying customer service wasn't much but I have had nothing but good experiences with them so much so I'm planing on buying a thermal scope when I can save up enough funds but that will take some time since I'm a Disabled Veteran and not much funds coming in . This scope is everything I expected and more. For the money it would be hard to find a day/night vision scope with half the features at this price. Overall I'm very pleased with this scope and would buy another in a heartbeat and like I said would love to buy a thermal scope from ATN. Very nice for the Money! Came with a small Ir Illuminator, works very good in black dark, tested out to 100yds so far. I think you see and shoot farther, just haven't got that far yet,download and walk-thru setup is pretty quick and painless,make sure ya pickup some Batteries and a "Micro SD Card" for downloading and programming scope. All n all nice!

I bought the 5-20x and I love it. Used it on a pig hunt last month and shot a 200lbs boar at 90 yards at 9pm. I did upgrade the batteries because it is cheaper than buying a bunch of AA, just in my experience. I used it on a AR-15 223 and haven't had the sights move on me a bit. It road in a truck tool box for 9 hr for the hunt and didn't move at all. If your looking for a good start into night vision this is the way to go.

So far it's been great. Furthest zoom without extended zoom turned on is a little fuzzy for killing paper, but you can definitely still know where center is. Just can't read the numbers. No instructions that I could see for turning on included IR illuminator. Figured out you push down both buttons simultaneously to turn on and off. Would be nice to offer a 3/8" weaver mount for air rifle. Then again my Daystate rifle should offer a picatinny rail.

Got the 5X20 for Christmas, Had it mounted and zeroed by noon. It was very easy to do. Played with it at night using my buddy deer I use for my bow. I was able to see it at 50 yards with no problem in pitch dark. Can't wait to do some hog hunting at night with this scope. The only reason it didn't get 5 starts is the battery life. I uses batteries I had at the house and used to sets in one day just playing. Getting ready to order the battery pack. I would think they would give the battery pack with purchase.

Does this thing chew up batteries? Yes, but not as fast as one of those Pokemon Go players wandering the city. Is it heavy? Yes, what do you expect when you carry a computerized scope. The biggest thing I love about the scope is the ability to set multiple load-outs depending on the round or gun I currently using it with. I haven't messed with the camera capabilities yet or the IR much yet but I will come January when I use it for hogs.
