Very cool scope. Only 2 draw backs to this scope are the fact that it is powered by batteries and that it doesn't come with detailed instructions (you must get them from the website). I bought a T67 IR illuminator to go with it and the scope is everything is it promises. The illuminator is good that comes with it probably to about 100 yds. You MUST do the sd card formating and firmware upgrade FIRST or you are going to have issues!!! I did. All fixed now though. I think this scope is doing what GoPro did for the POV camera.

After a somewhat lengthy research of night vision scopes I decide to try the ATNX 3-14X. When it arrived I pulled it out the box read the instructions registered it on ATN website downloaded the latest software uploaded it to the scope mounted it followed the instructions for zeroing it and was pleased how simple they made it to sight it in the first time I used it after dark I was very impressed with how well you could see I am so satisfied with the scope I show all of my family and friends that hunt and nobody can believe how well it works then I tell them what it sells for and they cannot believe it needless to say everybody that looks through it wants it.

This thing is so cool. The batteries run off a little fast and I can't figure out how to format the disk. I'm not much on the computer. Thanks, Great scope.

I bought this sight to upgrade my original x-sight. ATN definitely paid attention to the feedback the got on their original sight. Major things like the focus adjustment and small details such as the sunshade with the built in light restricter for day time use. I have not really started to pay will many of the new features but from the set up to having it hint ready it is quick and easy. This thing eats up batteries. I recommend using an external power pack with a good set of rechargeable lithium batteries. My only real complaint is the mount. It is obvious that the sight is more geared for use on AR style weapons. I use mine on bolt action rifles. In order to get the correct eye relief I have the back half of the sight mount hanging off the back of my rail. So the could change the mount slightly or come up with an adapter to better fit bolt action rifles it would be money. With that being said it still holds zero and shoots true with have the mount hanging off. Just not the ideal way to have it mounted. Bottom line what you get for the price tag can't be beat!

I took the scope out last night and worked flawlessly. For the price I'm very pleased with the operation and function! Was able to get a coyote and a couple feral hogs with it. Setup was no problem and sighting the optic in was a breeze! I would highly recommend this optic for anyone on a budget!

This scope is awesome! Night vision works pretty well. I plan to get a better infrared light than what comes with it. Easily can justify the expense of this scope as you can set profiles for multiple guns and calibers.The ATN user group on facebook is really helpful. Integration with the iPhone or iPad is great for making adjustments. The photo/video is really nice Would definitely recommend.

Stopped working. Sent product back at a cost of $40.00. After not hearing anything after a couple weeks I sent an email to find out the progress. It will take another 6-8 weeks to be returned. Must be a lot of defective products to take this long for turn around.

Wish I could get a refund. Small game hunting season will be over by the time I get it back.

I am very pleased with the function of the scope. Holds it's zero, and works as advertised. higher magnifications do seem to get grainy or pixelated a little. I would recommend it for someone who is looking to get into night vision without a lot of money for sure.

Really love this riflescope!! First one I received had to return quit working after a couple of days would not power up. The replacement however no issues as of yet. Good night vision out to about 75 yds with the factory IR illuminator will definitely be looking a other options for that. Easy setup fairly easy to operate. Really goes through the batteries, a external power supply is a must!!

It is worth every penny I spent. Even if I can't use it to hunt with at night where I live, should I end up in Texas on a hog hunt I am more than ready. For home use I've set it up so the kids can see all our night time critters via the wifi to my iPad. It will make some awesome night videos.

I've been doing my homework and research for quite some time prior to my purchase of the ATN X-Sight II, 3x14x, Night & Day scope. Watched all the videos on the manufactures website, You-tube, ATN Owners blog, and several of the Facebook pages dedicated to the X-Sight scope. I found the reviews were somewhat mixed, but mostly edging toward more favorable reviews. I believe the more negative reviews are from users who may have gotten frustrated with the technical entries on the scope, ballistics, weather, etc. I found this scope relatively easy to understand. Firmware was easy to update. Download firmware from the ATM Site, transfer to your micro SD card and install following simple instructions. I installed the X-Sight II scope to my Marlin 30-30. I attached the external battery (separate review), entered all required information in to the sight and when to hunt club to sight-in. Sight in was fairly straight forward. There's several Youtube videos that explain sighting-in procedures. Easy day. Started bench-rested at 25 yards, set at 3x, it took 3 rounds to hit bull's-eye, and 2 more to get it perfect. Group was a little spread, but tightened up each shot. Moved back to 50 yards, could have been me, but was hitting a little high, but took 3 rounds to bull's-eye. Moved back to 100 yards, 3 rounds, hit bulls-eye with a 1" group. I felt satisfied. Sat in my ground blind that evening, had some moon-light available. I attached my ATN IR850Pro IR light to the side of the scope (separate review). I could see clearly (in green night vision) at 50 and 100 yards. The moon light was enough to see with night vision. Turned on the IR light, and things lit-up. I’m impressed. Could probably could see much further out, but not from where I was sitting. I believe the IR light that comes with the scope is probably sufficient to 100 yards, but I didn't try. Keep in mind, this isn't a regular scope, you're not looking thru glass. It's similar to a video recorder view. The day-time view is OK, usable, but I wasn't real impressed with the clarity. I could easily hunt with the ATN X-Sight scope during the day, but if you want that super crisp, clear view, use your favorite scope. Zoom is good, and the reticle adjusts to the distance. Speaking of distance, I didn’t feel comfortable with the range finder. It was giving me inaccurate distance calculations. I used my hand held range finder to make manual entry. I will give the range finder feature a little more time. I did try using the photo and video feature, they work fine, although I was having some difficulty getting the video to record again after the first recording. It could have been me, it was dark, but it wouldn’t start recording when I pressed the button. It took several attempts. I'll get it figured out. Side note: after adding the scope, the side mounted IR light and the external battery pack, your rifle has some extra weight added. I could easily carry it, but you'll have to get used to the added weight. In summary, so far, I like the scope. Good scopes aren't cheap, and you get what you pay for. I bought this scope mostly for night hog hunting, so for that reason a lone, this scope is perfect. If you don’t mind a computerized scope, it does a lot, this is a fun scope. If you’re not sure about a scope with all the Techie stuff, bells and whistles, stay with your favorite scope. I like the scope and would recommend it to a friend.scope is perfect.

What surprised me was the optical clarity using this scope for day time shooting. Usually you don't find glass this clear at this price point. To be honest I haven't used all the features yet because this thing does everything, its like cheating. I am an old school shooter that uses Mil/Mil and a whole lot of math to find distance and a shooting solution. Having a built in rangefinder is just incredible and knowing it is built by ATN gives me piece of mind. I cannot wait to use the video capabilities. I highly recommend, for this price point this is an incredible steal.

This is the best Day Night Scope I have ever used the functions leave all others in the dust and the ballistic correction is amazing I have it mounted on a new generation 2 AR Long range 308 and it is a tack driver as a NV scope its just amazing how far I can detect coyotes over 600 yards and have the ability to take them out at 300 yards easily although they come in under 100yards without even thinking they are under the gun! when I'm at the range with it I am always getting asked about it and just have to let them take a few shots with it and they leave amazed and wanting one!!!

Great scope for the price. I had a little trouble with the screen freezing up when using the Obsidian app on my phone. So far I have not been hunting with it yet, but I have used it to see what was animals were hanging around in m backyard at night. During a clear night with a 3/4 full moon I didn't really need the IR to see well. Even in complete darkness with the IR adjusted I could see everything well out to 150 yards and may be further if I had a clear that long. This will do very nicely for some predator hunting and when I get to go to South Carolina and Georgia to do some hog hunting. I did get an aftermarket 16000 mAh battery to use and I can go all night before it needs recharging and I would definitely recommend doing that instead of using the 4 AA Lithium batteries.

ATN X-Sight II 3-14 WOW it works great ! A must have scope ! ATN stick a range finder in there next time and I'll give it a 10 STAR even with the battery issue. Only CON is: Its a battery drainer. A must have is the ATN Power Weapon kit ( External battery pack ) then you have no worries.

I bought the 3-14 x sight II. I have used it alot in different hunting situations and all I can say is wow! This is a great product for the price! I have learned to not treat it as a traditional optic, so it does have a bit of a learning curve. After you get use to the functions and features it is very easy to use. It does eat AA's fairly quick so I would recommend a battery pack for it or a good set of kentli rechargeables.

Overall this isn't a bad scope, it's not perfect by no means; however, it gets the job done. I find that it lacks clarity in cloudy weather and four double AA batteries last about 2 hours. So if your looking to buy this scope plan on buying a new Illuminator and the ATN X Power Pack which gives you roughly 20 hours of usuage for your scope AND ITS RECHARGABLE ! Overall i am enjoying this scope.

I got the 3-14 scope to try to find wild pigs coming to our feeders My wife loves the ability to view what I see in the scope by wifi to her iPhine. It took a little reading and playing with it to learn all of the settings but it works great. The IR light that comes with it is more than enough to see hogs at 100 yards. The only complaint I have is I couldn't video tape the shots at the hog at the same time we wre viewing with wifi on the phone. I strongly suggest getting the external battery pack or the Rechargeable Lithium batteries by Kentli to ensure a steady supply to the scope. Pictures taken also look good

Just set up and tested the X-sight II - 3X14 power - I have to say, the quality is pretty spectacular. I just followed the instructions and everything set up normally. I did have that trouble with the date reset - I saw this on a YouTube review and knew exactly what to do - download the latest firmware like they tell you to do, and load it BEFORE you waste any time setting up your new X-Sight - it will be worth it. After that, everything worked flawlessly, including the Android app - I was setting up the device with my phone in short order, and then watching the scope screen on my phone - pretty trick, I must say. Very good job by ATN - I can recommend highly. And I'm looking forward to getting into their thermal sights soon as well.

I originally bought the 5-20 and returned it to get the 3-14, both worked great but at night i felt the 3x was better for close range. These scopes have many great features for day and night hunting.
