I like everything about it very easy to use . what I also like is that I can see what my boy is aiming at and guide him on a good hunt

The only thing I would change and it minor is the rail mount I would of put a quick connect

This scope is amazing and I love all the features. There are so many things this scope does for you automatically that the only problem is trying to get comfortable with using all of them. The one-shot zero is worth the cost of the scope. Shooting is now much more enjoyable, both night and day. I suggest you get the external battery pack as well if you plan on using it for extended periods.

Quite the collection of tech, with some very useful features. 1st the negatives...the day screen can get a little pixelated when zooming into distances of 100 yards or more causing some guess work on the bulls eyes. The focus turret is quite stiff and requires too much attention in hitting the exact focus on the target quickly. When viewing the sight display you must keep your eye alignment very centered to screen or things get blurry. This thing eats AA;s for breakfast, lunch and dinner....use an external power pack with a USB cable into micro USB for scope...is so much easier and then just put in inside or side pocket which gives you tens of hours of power. The sun shade that comes with it is a must or image appears washed out. Now the positives...shot zero works slick, various reticle sizes and colors are awesome ( wish they had a red dot selection too ), night mode black and white is my favorite, but ATN;s IR illuminator is slightly anemic ( good at 100 yards) purchased a Streamline IR which easily doubled the night range to over 200 yards. Camera single shot, and video activated from recoil is very cool, with some video pixelation in night mode. Over all this is a very nice upgrade for cheap night scoping.

Awesome scope for the money,the one shot zero feature works great,easy scope to operate and u can save up to 6 different shooting profiles,highly recommend this scope to anyone lookin to get into night hunting

The x sight II 3-14 is way ahead of the gen 1 x sight owned both gen 1s and this is much clearer I like the turret type focus as well much easier and included a ring with hole in it so don't have to drill a cap.( it helps in bright sunlight) all in all I would recommend this scope to anyone who wants to night hunt but cant afford thermal .they have a great website to help with problems most of which are operator error

This is an excellent scope. By far the best value on the market today for the money. Works great in low or no light with included IR light. Many adjustments and features. If any negatives I can not find any other than it eats standard AA batteries alive. Would highly recommend buying the optional external battery supply or at very least, quality rechargeables. The view option using the ATN Obsidian app through WI-FI is outstanding. Would highly recommend to anyone in the market for a great night scope at an unbelievably low price.

My first experience with night vision, easy to zero. Easy to set up, one shot zero works great. large reticle selection,The 3x14 worked great for my needs. Like stated in other reviews, higher magnification increases grainy image. Could easily identify rabbits and raccoon at 125 yards with streamlight long range ir illuminator. Hogs never showed up maybe next time. Pros: Quality Price & Performance Easy to use & operate Cons: None

i am going to list the positives, not in order though. 1. better night vision quality than expected for 1st gen. 2. 10 profiles that i can use in setting up on different rifles. 3. the WIFI technology for sharing, and setup ease. 4. the ballistic aid in making better shots. 5. Great feature is sighting in with one shot. 6. software support that just makes this scope better. 7. the quality of the viewfinder is really good. 8. the zoom is smooth and i like the digital zoom to 34X it does get pixelated at that high of a zoom, but it is expected, all digital devices do the same, but it is usable and works fine. 9. the night vision works at 200 yards pretty good. items can be clearly identified. the negative is navigating menu when looking thru scope. kinda cumbersome. a touch-pad might be easier to use like Samsung VR.i am going to list the positives, not in order though.

This is my second x-sight. I sold my gen 1 because of screen clarity being only SD. This one however is far better. I have no issues seeing out clear to 200+ yards with a T67 IR light. The optic, functions, features, and clarity are a big improvement over the gen 1 and this digital night vision can't be beat for the price. The stock included IR is good to about 50 yards. If you need to see further you'll want to buy a bigger IR. I really like the new features with recoil activated video, built in lens cap, top focus nob, and the new software. Like i said, this is really hard to beat for the money. Just remember you're looking at an internal HD screen. It's not a typical glass optic.

Pairing the ATN X-Sight HD II 3-14 with a suppressor on my 300 Blackout has resulted in taking many more hogs than I ever have. I was on the fence about buying one of these scopes. But now I kick myself for waiting so long. You just have to keep in mind that it is as almost as much of a computer as it is a scope. With that in mind setting up profiles for your different rifles and cartridges is very simple. Once you get it zeroed you're in for alot of fun. I have used both the range finder function and the manual distance entry method to hit hogs out to 400+ yards at night. I did buy a more powerful IR Illuminator than the one that comes with it. So I can see out to almost 1,000 yards at night. The 3-14 zoom is awesome. But it is alot better when using as a daylight scope. If you zoom out to 4x or more at night the picture becomes too pixelated to make out your target very well. I do recommend also purchasing the extended battery weapons kit. AA batteries are ok for short duration use. But if you plan to be out chasing hogs and coyotes for more than a couple of hours you will burn through a bunch of them. This is my second one. Have a 1st gen and now a second gen. Both are great. Love the new features. Can't wait to take it to the woods. Easy to use and set up. Awesome product

Wow, what a buy. Scope, Rangefinder, IR Night Vision, Ballistics Calculator, Camera all in one unit. The X-Sight II comes with the high power IR emitter that costs extra for prior models. This lights up the feeder area at over 100 yards.

I purchased this scope primarily for my 300 blackout for hog extermination and I'm extremely impressed. The possibilities are endless with all many features this scope has to offer. My favorite feature is the live video. Also, if you have the app downloaded you can make adjustments to the scope using your smartphone. To top things off, you can record your shots! Not only does this help hone in your shooting abilities but you can now honestly proof that insane shot to your hunting buddies.

I purchased the 3-14 a few weeks ago and mounted on an AR15 set up is straight forward as was sighting in. The buttons are slow to respond when first starting and after some functions. I would guess processor Speed like when a computer is booting up. Once up it is east to use. During daylight optics are decent but digital zoom soon gets blurry just like zooming in on a digital picture. I was able to load 6 profiles but had to put SD in computer to name them. All were easily zero' but may have taken 2-3 shots for perfection. Even with grainy look on 14 I was able to shoot a couple one inch 5 shot groups at 100 yards and averaged 2-3 at 200. I have not tried auto shot adjustment or recoil activated vidio yet. Night vision amazing for the price but have not tried beyond 50 yards. For the range session I took my battery pack but installed alkaline batteries. They lasted through 3 hours of shooting and some programming before leaving and had no problems. Night use might be harder on batteries but 4 AA seemed fine during the day. Haven't tried wifi but blue tooth works but functions are extremely limited and not all functions available. Overall great value for the price.

Wow was the first word that that came out of my mouth when i tested this scope. I've being searching for months for a good nv scope for my hunting and shooting needs . When I first heard about ATN making a digital nv/day scope I was curious about it and did some research on it. Reading the reviews on the gen 1 3x12 digital scope got me to wait and save more money to get me something of a better quality. Till recently when ATN came out with the new gen2 3x14 I decided to give it a shot and let me tell you it's probably one of the best toy for my collection I have ever bought . Now this scope is definitely not for everyone . Think like you playing a video game on Super HD , that's exactly how is like to look thru the scope but you really pulling the trigger . Lol I'm glad I waited long enough for ATN to come out with the gen 2. I love this scope. I could record my shots and see my mistakes . I could showoff now to my friends and family . Not only you can record but it also has so many features. My favorite is the ballistic feature and one shot zero that you can save and load to any rifle caliber you used for zeroing . But at night time is when it works it's best . Like any other nv device yes you will need a ir illuminator to get the best out of the scope . The scope already comes with one which for me worked for up too 150 yards which is super good for most of my needs . You can always upgrade to a longer range ir illuminator . Even without the ir on you can still see clear on full moon . You will not be disappointed if you buy this scope . Definitely the true future nv scope .

This is a really great buy , there is not a better scope out the for less , Super easy to operate . Video quality is really good HD . and the night vision is excellent !!

The scope is the best value in NV optics for air rifles. Very easy to use intuitive instructions. I spent only about 30 minutes setting up. You will find that the ATN app speeds up this process and is invaluable for entering data for your particular rifle. App is available free for both Apple and Android and is a breeze to use. It gives you the opportunity to set up all the features from your device as well as view videos and pictures you record. A really cool feature with this app is that you can also stream in real time what the scope sees. You can find several how to videos on YouTube. Airgun Gear Show and TWANGnBANG are two that I found extremely useful. Also, there is a forum dedicated to ATN and their optics.

The focus knob on top is stiff and can be tricky to get just perfect, as others have stated elsewhere but I'm being picky here. Quick release levers on the mounting screws.

The scope I received is a Gen 2 as illustrated here. For best results and less frustrations, it is very important to read and follow the instructions exactly. The scope will come with a quick start guide. However, download the full manual from the ATN website.
Battery power: Use only Lithium batteries or the ATN external battery pack.
SD Card: Start with a new SD card. Make sure it is at least a class 10 card. This is really as much as you need. You may experience problems when using faster cards and there isn't any advantage in this scope. Go to www.atncorp.com/firmware and download the latest updated firmware before you attempt to preform any data entry or use the scope.
The sight picture isn't like that found in standard scopes. You are actually looking at a video screen of what the gun sees. HD but different.
Because of all the features this scope offers, you may want to consider keeping your existing scope for daytime shooting and use this one for night shooting.

Let me state that this review will be updated as problems with the sight are resolved. As of this writing, the manufacturer, ATN, has not responded to emails requesting help. It's been four days. True to their claim you get a reply within 24 hours. It is an automated reply that merely sends you a copy of what you wrote. No attempt at service. Here's the current list of problems: 1. Illuminator doesn't work. No manual. 2. Software crashes when you try to set time or date. 3.Firmware does not update from micro SD card. Haven't field tested yet. Waiting to hear from company. 4. WiFi android smartphone app intermittent and crashes.

Better email customer support - well, any customer support by email at all. Will call them next week and try to reach someone in tech support. Will update this review as issues are resolved.

The price may be too good to be true for what is promised by the company. Right now there's better than a 50% chance this sight will be returned for a refund.
