    Things I liked:

Easy to use. A must have for PCP air guns.

    Things I would have changed:

Make the hand pump less expensive and make an affordable electric one.

    What others should know:

    Works like a bicycle pump!

    Things I liked:

I purchased this pump for use with my Marauder, which is my first PCP rifle. To date I have shot around 250 pellets through my rifle and so far the pump has worked flawlessly. After reading reviews concerning the use of this pump I gathered all the info I could concerning the proper method for using the pump and so far have had great success. As also noted in reviews the pump can be a little difficult above 2500 psi and does take a little weight to operate. I weigh 180 lbs. and had to learn the right technique for getting the last inch or so of the pump stroke. For anyone wanting to try PCPs and don't have high pressure tanks available (like me) I would recommend this pump as a more affordable alternative.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing.

    What others should know:

Before using this pump, get all the info you can from reviews and articles on the best operating method.

    NOT MUCH

    Things I would have changed:

PUT SOME GOOD O RINGS IN THIS PUMP

    What others should know:

PUT THE PRICE OF THIS TOWARDS AN 88 CF 4500 PSI CARBON FIBER TANK. IT IS WELL WORTH IT.

    Things I liked:

Works just fine for the application. Seems to build very well, and should hold up for the long haul.

    Things I would have changed:

To new with PCP pumps to honestly rate.

    What others should know:

Depending on your own application, it's best to start with the "Factory" pump, and let you experience rate it.

    Rating 1.01.0 1.0

    Things I liked:

Not much. It's easy to take apart to rebuild which is good because you're going to be doing it a lot.

    Things I would have changed:

This pump all comes down to one tiny o-ring. It's the final stage seal that does the major compression under a kinetic friction load and it fails constantly. I've owned this pump since 2009 and and had to rebuild it weekly if not more often when I shoot my M-rod. The Manufacturer (Not Crosman/Benjamin) recommends using 10W30 motor oil to lube it, which it leaks out the pressure realse screw and makes a mess. The motor oil combined with the disintegrated o-rings make a disaster inside the pump. I'd hate to think whats gotten into my rifle. I just rebuilt it AGAIN and it seems to have quit for good. Good riddance.

    What others should know:

Don't bother with this pump! I think this is the worst product Benjamin has ever put their name on. I love my M-Rod .25 but hate this thing. Do yourself a favor and buy a tank. I'm not sure who makes a better pump but I'm about to start my research.

    Things I liked:

This pump seems to be a very heavy duty piece of equipment. I purchased a dessicant filter for this pump from the manufacturer. From what I've read, heat and moisture are the enemies of hand pumps.

    Things I would have changed:

    Pump works as advertised.

    What others should know:

This is my first experience with pcp's. There is a wealth of information on the PyramydAir web site. Tom Gaylord's video on the proper use of a hand pump should be required reading.

    Things I liked:

So far the pump holds pressure well and works as designed, Pumps from 0-2000 PSI is hard, but from 2000-3000 Psi it fills pretty quickly on my Marauder.

    Things I would have changed:

Price or make it easier to pump and less of a workout.

    What others should know:

A pump should be a necessity of a PCP airgun owner. If you do not live close to sports store or want to fill your own storage tanks. This pump works as designed for a fair price.

    Things I liked:

Pump was straight foward but comes with only assembly instructions.

    Things I would have changed:

The air hose is to short you have to lay your gun on the ground. For the price should come with a moist seperator.

    What others should know:

if you pump to 3000 psi from empty be prepaired for a work out.

    Things I liked:

It gets the job done. It's a good workout. Pumped Air is Free.

    Things I would have changed:

Make the pumping effort needed much lesser than it currently needs.

    What others should know:

Unless you're a hardcore fitness freak - you will tire reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal fast using this pump ... I charge my .22 Marauder to 2800 psi and 30 shots later, I find myself at 1800 psi ... To pump it from 1800 psi to 2800 psi - you're looking at approx 100 pumps ... This might not sound a lot, but trust me - it's a looooooooooooot of huffing and puffing, especially if you're not "in shape" like I am! P.S: After about 2 weeks of using the pump, I decided it was better to cough up the money needed to get a scuba tank and Adaptors! (100cuft @ 3300 psi Scuba Tank -> $265 + Adaptors -> $135)

    Things I liked:

    A very well constructed pump.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing that I would change.

    What others should know:

The pump works real well. It takes some effort when you get to 2500psi and above. Using a tank seems like a better idea.

    Things I liked:

    doing job quite well,

    Things I would have changed:

Longer hose, adding drier, It pump too much moisture to my marauder, I have to disassembly my gun too clean air reservoir every month or less.

    What others should know:

You should consider a risk by making your air reservoir more change become rusting. If you buy this, you should add a drier from lowe's. It may help.

I know filling my benjamin to 3,000 lbs. with a hand pump would take some effort...but it does the job

    Things I would have changed:

longer fill hose...pump a bit pricey

    What others should know:

once my benjamin gets below 2,000 lbs. i pump it back up..does not take to long then.

    Things I liked:

VERY SIMPLE TO USE WITH LITTLE EFFORT YOU KIDDING ME THIS PUMPS UP TO 3600 PSI ALL METAL CONSTRUCTION HIGH QUALITY TAKES ABOUT 80 PUMPS TO FILL MY BENJAMIN MARAUDER TO 3000 PSI

    Things I would have changed:

    LONGER PUMP STROKES

    What others should know:

TOP OF THE LINE PUMP GOOD CONSTRUCTION AND MATERIAL

    Things I liked:

Solid feel and sturdy. Easy to connect to the rifle. Easy bleed operation with controllable release. This makes it quiet for indoor use.

    Things I would have changed:

Better documentation. Any 3500 PSI pump will break quickly if run hot and not purged with fresh air after charging a rifle. Purging is easy, after bleeding the line and disconnecting, simply operate the pump a few times without generating pressure. This will remove water and vapor that may have collected in the cooler areas of the pump during slow pumping. I would recommend a desiccant pre-filter to help dry incoming air. This will help extend pump life but some users may not want to be troubled. Also, using the pump in humid locations should be avoided. Likewise with dirty locations.

    What others should know:

Pump slowly and deliberately using full strokes. Take frequent rests, every 10-20 strokes at the most. You can hear when the fill port check valve opens, sounds like a little click. This should take 5 strokes if at 1500 PSI, 6 strokes at 2000 PSI and 7-8 strokes above 2500 PSI. This is a good sign of pump health.

    Things I liked:

    Nothing

    Things I would have changed:

    Last longer

    What others should know:

Used mine around 20-25 times. Now its impossible to use. On the up stroke it dosent draw in air, so it creates a powerful suction to where it is imposible to pull up. Now im looking for a different brand.

    Things I liked:

It, when it works. Pumps easy enough.

    Things I would have changed:

Finish on internals, it eats seals . Moisture filter.

    What others should know:

Use it on my .25 Benjamin Marauder. About 225 pumps to bring gun from 0 to 3000 psi. I've used the pump for around 6 months, went through 1000 rounds more or less, and rebuilt the pump 4 times. Thought moisture was the culprit, added a Desiccant filter. Rebuilt again after, no water inside tho. Same 2 o rings keep going bad and I'm getting pretty fast at it, but I would have rather spent the extra hundred bucks on hill pump and not gained this skill. Do what you want, if you want to save even more money I'll sell you mine and I'll get the hill.

  • Rating 4.04.0 4.0

    Rating 3.03.0 3.0

    Things I liked:

Certainly not bad at all.. Well built and sturdy to pump. Others complain that it takes a lot of pumps to reach back to 3000 PSI. Maybe true, but I don't let my Marauder get below 2000. Takes about 30-40 to get back to 3000.

    Things I would have changed:

I would include a longer hose!! For the money you pay, it's too bad this comes with such a short hose..

    What others should know:

If money is no issue, get a carbon fibre tank.. It's faster to fill ..

    Rating 3.03.0 3.0

    Things I liked:

This pump is pretty good for its function.

    Things I would have changed:

The hose is a little short and I wish Crosman would make a more portable version, one that was more easily transportable which could more easily packed into the field.

    What others should know:

This pump is more for a basecamp or home use.
