    Things I liked:

Makes mounting a scope , like a red dot , very simple and provides a stable platform for the sight

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

Still a little difficult to load but no real problem

    Things I liked:

Great for modding my crosman 1377. It has a rail for a scope and holds the barrel much better than the original plastic breech. It is easy to fit a long barrel. A 1760-001 will fit perfectly (but you'll have to replace or modify the stock barrel band). This breech allows acess to the probe with less disassembly than before. The hex keys included in the package make life simpler, especially the small one.

    Things I would have changed:

The probe is too short. The original one has the same problem. Pellets may partially block the transfer port. Pellets with very long skirts, such as Gamo TS10s' may not even fire at all. The small machine screw that attaches the breech to the frame is not supplied (you are supposed to use the small one). Including a slot-head screw of the proper size would be nice. The hex key is VERY thin and it is easy to damage the hex head.

    What others should know:

If you are looking for a fancier breech, there are some high end (and more expensive) breeches. This one is fairly plain but gets the job done.

    Things I liked:

Easy to install. Allows for mounting different type of optics. Gives the gun a little more heft. I have mounted this on my Crosman 1377 along with a LPA Mim sight. This combination has allow me to improve my marksmanship.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

Use blue lock tite when screwing the bolt handle into the bolt. Otherwise it works its way loose.

    Things I liked:

Nice and solid. Brings the balance back into the hand.

    What others should know:

I would disassemble on a nice white sheet, because little things, such as screws, can slip away from you. Also, I make it a habit to have my 20# magnet handy, just in case... Those l'il buggers are hard to see at my age, and they hurt the bare feet....

    Things I liked:

The change was very easy. It also tightened the barrel so I can leave the barrel mount on for my reflex sight.

    Things I would have changed:

I would tighten the bolt by placing an 'o' ring at the rear of the bolt.

    What others should know:

If you want a more accurate pistol, put the steel upgraded breech kit on your pistol. Big difference.

    Things I liked:

Could not believe how the new breech block tightned the barrel. With the plastic block, my reflex sight moved. With the steel breach block It's rock solid.Great addition and improved accuracy.Still using the barrel scope mounts since the barrel is now immovable.

    Things I would have changed:

Ad a rear sight (metal front and rear preferably)Also tighten up the bolt-breach block fit.(Nilon 'o' ring at rear?)

    What others should know:

Very simple change. If you want better accuracy, get the upgrade.

    Things I liked:

Adds a much needed 3/8" Dovetail for mounting dot sights, lasers, small scopes or Weaver adapters. Longer than the stock plastic Breech adding to barrel stability. Allows for upgrade of rear sight. Needed tools included (except for a small screw driver)

    Things I would have changed:

Instructions for installation consist of a single page photo copy. Print on the diagrams is small and blurred. Kit comes packed is a small zip lock bag

    What others should know:

I received My gun, a Black Crosman PC77, as a gift. It was purchased locally not from Pyramyd Air. I really like the gun, it's fairly light, fits my hand well, has a lot of power. It is also very accurate when the sights are dialed in but the stock rear sight makes that hard. I was looking for a replacement rear sight and also better mounting system than the Crosman 459MT so I could add a dot sight or small scope, hopefully low profile so I wouldn't have to remove everything use open the open sights. The .177-Cal Steel Breech kit combined with the Crosman LPA MIM Rear Sight is exactly what the "Doctor" ordered. Installation was easy despite the shortcomings of the instructions. The new rear is a beauty and was almost right on one click of elevation and I was punching holes as close to the bulls eye as could be expected shooting hand held from about 18 feet inside. Can't wait to get outside and try longer range. The Breech Kit and rear sight could have easily fit is a padded envelope however Pyramyd Air packed them well padded in a small sturdy box, good job guys. I highly recommend this product. Crosman does offer versions of both the Crosman 1377C and big brother .22 Caliber Crosman 1322 with the steel breech in a package, Pyramyd Air does not carry these at the time but hopefully will consider them in the future.

    Things I liked:

Fits perfectly, solid, secure for mounting sights and scopes

    Things I would have changed:

some of the edges are sharp; wadcutters sometimes get caught on bottom edge when trying to load; would like to see them gone over to smooth the edges before the finish is applied. A bit heavy, and if you're only mounting an open sight, a shorter version would be sufficient (and lighter)

    What others should know:

You might want to use non-permanent (blue) threadlocker on the bolt handle or it will tend to loosen.

    Things I liked:

Very simple to install. Everything needed is included in the kit. The ONLY way to go if installing a scope. Improves the looks of the pistol! Functions perfectly!

    Things I would have changed:

The small screw located in the loading tray causes the pellet to hang up when closing the bolt.

    What others should know:

Go to YouTube for videos on making the change.

    Things I liked:

Made of good solid metal construction which gives my crossman 1377 a good feel. It was also easy to install.

    Things I would have changed:

Offer it with a good iron sight option or maybe a silver version.

    What others should know:

Make sure you do your research and know what your buying if you're getting a iron sight, dot sight or scope for this breech. There are some that fit it but alot of them don't.

    Things I liked:

Well made real steel firearm style part.

    Things I would have changed:

Offer it with a sight option.

    What others should know:

If you like your 13XX series gun before you add this you will love it later. It is a huge difference in scope alignment and accuracy.

    Things I liked:

Wow, what a difference from the wiggle barrel floppy scope original setup.I would have bought this a year ago if I had known.

    Things I would have changed:

Offer it with a rear sight in the package. Granted the sight and breech double the price of the gun but it is a great gun.For that matter as good as the gun is they should offer a top end version with the breech and match sights and wooden grips.

    What others should know:

Easy install but it may be best to watch a You Tube video. Videos are easier to understand than written instructions.

    Things I liked:

The kit is reasonably easy to install aslong as you remove parts carefully and remember their orientation when reassembling. Is great for mounting a .22 type scope that fits the grooved receivers.

    Things I would have changed:

included instructions could be made easier to follow. They could correct the part about not fitting the older styles with cocking knobs instead of bolts. The barrel seal that goes between the breech and the barrel is the trickiest part about putting back on correctly.

    What others should know:

Both breech kits CAN be installed on all versions, even with those with the sliding breech cover. The bolt WILL NOT recock the gun when pulled back, you will have to cock it by pulling back the cocking knob 2 clicks as originally required.Original rear sight CAN be made to fit the slot by reshaping the plastic base.

    What others should know:

I plan to add a longer barrel, scope and shoulder stock to my 1377 for some target shooting
